Super warm without being too warm that you sweat heaps. Keeps out alot of cold weather out. Have used during cold periods and was very comfortable. Right length for every day use, but I use my longer coat at night.

This is a fantastic jacket for its price. Very effective at keeping the wearer warm, cosy and is yet still breathable in the single digits temperature range. I had bought one of these jackets for myself initially, then bought one for my dad after he enjoyed using it as well then finally decided to buy the same jacket for my mum as well. We have all found this jacket to be extremely effective for the winters in Western Australia and no longer do we dread the cold, freezing winters. To be smug, when we are outdoors we still find it amusing amongst family and friends who complain about how cold the mornings are whilst we are highly unaffected thanks to wearing this jacket. I had one of these. I absolutely loved how soft and cozy it felt, but…. The hood was so heavy it actually made my neck ache. No choice other than to give it away. If only Macpac would make one without the hood. Just a suggestion….??
The Macpac Women's Sherpa Jacket was a gift from my son, who had bought the men's version. He found it very warm and during the winter hardly had it off his back. I find the women's version extremely warm and easy to wear. I wear it frequently on these cold winter days and nights. I just wish you did a similar product made from natural and sustainable materials If that were the case, I would definitely buy from you.
I also bought one, went back and bought a second. This is such a cozy warm top. I wear it as a cardigan in winter and nothing makes me feel as warm. I wish the pockets had zips and i wish there was a non hood version but otherwise this is my favourite top.
Lovely jumper but very thin outer “waffle” layer. I ended up returned it (purchased online) as I’d been looking for a much thicker jumper. It also flares out a lot at the base/waist which wasn’t ideal for me as a smaller person.
Sherpa jacket is fantastic. This keeps you warm and keeps the wind & cold completely out. Put this on when your cold and within minutes you feel warm again. Love the fact the cuffs are long and have thumb holes. I wear this jacket almost daily, for someone who is almost never cold that’s a good wrap as you don’t overheating. The only downfall is the pockets are not lined too.
I have another of these tops and find it cosy in the cold weather, which is why I purchased a second. The only thing I do not like is, that there is now an additional piece added to the cuff which also has a thumb hole so that the sleeve can come partially over the hand. I find these annoying and unnecessary. They also easily become soiled.
Love the colour and the inside is warm, soft and cuddly feeling. A relaxed jacket style for cold weather. The only thing I’m not keen on is the wrist area (the last 10 cm) is quite tight. I’d prefer that looser.
