Great jacket & fast delivery. I took 1 star off because of the colour - ‘black indigo’. I bought the jacket online, I don’t have my screen very bright (as I have very sensitive eyes) and didn’t read the colour properly. I was very surprised to receive a blue jacket not black. When I checked my invoice (thinking there had been an error) and online I released it was called ‘black indigo’. Why not just call it indigo or if for some strange reason you really want ‘black’ in the description (even though there isn’t any black in the jacket?) perhaps switch the name to ‘indigo black’?

Not sure about this jacket, just feel like the front is sliding back and I have to constantly pull back to the front again. Maybe something to do with the design. In general I like Macpac jackets which I had several of them. But for this particular one I am not so keen to wear it. Otherwise good colour, still can see through underneath due to the thin material. Hope your designer team will look into for improvement.

Nice and warm, although so far I haven’t tried it in very cold weather. I agree with previous reviews, that the hip circumference of this is a little on the small side for the female shape. I am normally a size 8 in tops, but on this occasion ordered a 10 and it fits well, even if a little roomy around the middle. It does have some shape, but could do with tweaking to pull in a little more in the waist and out just a little on the hips. Love how well it compacts down for travelling.

Loving this is my second one of these jackets true to size measurements great as an extra layer over thermals and under raincoat. Notice a few little feathers fly out often but feels cosy and cost effective. Not that breathable if on long hikes, not that you can avoid moisture but if drawing moisture away from the body is a priority perhaps best as an extra layer on top at night as it packs small it is still a great lightweight item to fit in backpack. Glad I got with hood as been showered on a couple of times without raincoat or umbrella and it dried surprisingly quickly so that’s a plus. Kept me nice and warm in 3-10degrees temperatures so far. Be nice to have dark teal or purple available as colour options in larger sizing. Think I’ll get the longer version next ... MoreLoving this is my second one of these jackets true to size measurements great as an extra layer over thermals and under raincoat. Great jacket. Sizing is accurate. Good for when you need a light, wind proof or shower proof, jacket and not needing the extra bulk of a hood. Have several of these, plus a couple with hoods, in different colours. Great value when on sale. Can’t fault them.Would recommend.
Great lightweight jacket perfect for this inbetween Spring season. Packs easily away so great for in the bag about just over half a size of a forearm- prob worth buying as a member though, as I’m not sure how durable it would be for full price. Feels like it would snag or rip easily, or the pocket zips would break. True to size, but sized up due to the last fact. Great for layering, fits nicely under my current raincoat without being bulky. Overall, pretty happy with purchase.
Very pleased with my new jacket. I was initially worried that it would be too warm for the cold weather we have recently been experiencing in Brisbane but that was not the case at all. It has been excellent. I ordered a size12, my usual size in a jacket which fits perfectly, yet will still allow for further layers too be worn underneath when in colder climates. Very impressed with how light and compact it is, excellent for travelling. Great quality and great value - wish I had bought one sooner!
I am so pleased I bought this lightweight jacket. It keeps you warm without bulk. I have also worn it under another jacket as an extra layer. I am pleased the zip pockets are almost hidden. The pockets inside are nice and deep.I have not tried to get the jacket back in the bag because I am almost wearing it all the time. Recommend to buyers.
I now have three of these in different colours, khaki, navy and rose, because they are a good windbreaker. They are ideal for the Tasmanian climate to layer over jumpers etc. The only downside is that the feathers on some come through the fabric and either stick to my car seat or into the layer worn underneath it. However, they are not as bad at shedding as my black Halo one, which has ruined some black jumpers, just have to be careful what I wear under it. The Hobart shop didn't seem interested in knowing that when I mentioned it last year, after owning the Halo for about 9 months. Good thing I purchased it when on sale, otherwise I would have been very disappointed.
I bought this jacket in the end of summer sales on clearance, in the color APOLLO thinking it would be a nice royal'ish blue similar to my sou'west vest. It is very clearly PURPLE, but that was ok coz it was still a nice color. Usual size is a 12/M but i bought a size 14 to layer. Fits perfectly over my pajamas or columbia fast trek fleece. I also wear it under my heavenly columbia long hooded jacket when it's particularly frosty at night (I walk the dog ~9pm and finish work some nights after 11pm). Haven't tried folding it into its bag yet but when I bought it online it was sent in a VERY small satchel and out popped my full sized jacket. Very impressed. Has not been washed yet, I wash all my jackets in summer and line dry. Probably wouldnt recommend this jacket as ... MoreI bought this jacket in the end of summer sales on clearance, in the color APOLLO thinking it would be a nice royal'ish blue similar to my sou'west vest. Probably wouldnt recommend this jacket as a standalone in frosty temps but I run cold with poor circulation and this jacket warms me up well when I layer. If you are just going to be wearing this over a tee/thermal stick with your normal size or size up 1 for a bit looser. Will be buying another one for my overseas trip in Oct.
