Great light snack. I had trouble getting this item as either not in stock or would think it was in the health section with all the other macro products of nuts or similar & had a staff member on the ball after going to another store & located in the baking section which had nuts too. Had been to 4 stores. Once I finally have tasted Australian walnuts happy that is a great snack for on the run. Will have to do some baking and will be a great addition. 250gm pack is $ 8 so are a more expensive snack though 5 star health rating has source of omega 3 & magnesium. I am thankful for a great snack so was worth the wait.

Great Snack. Australian grown Walnuts they are a good size and they were crunchy. They were a bit hard to find on the shelves as they were on the bottom shelf and not many packets were left so was lucky to be able to get them. Price wise $8 for 250g is more then what I would pay, but don't buy walnuts often. 5 HSR which is goodSource of Omega 3 and Magnesium. BBD of 7th Nov 2023, they won't be around that long. Had some for a snack and they tasted good. Made some gingersnaps and added some chopped walnuts to the mixture and was quite happy with the end product. Great chopped up and sprinkled on top of a salad to add some crunch. Would I purchase them again yes when I need more walnuts. Thank you Bunch for giving me the opportunity to try them.

Just Delicious. Macro Wholefoods never disappoint with their distinctive see through bag to view the product and fresh green colouring on the pack as distinct from their purple organic range. Easy to rip open and a lovely strong re seal stripThe contents were lovely and fresh, with lots of large pieces and complete halves. There were no black or dark brown bits. They tasted delicious, not bitter or too dry. 5* health rating, and why not they're packed full of omega 3 (the good oil) and an excellent source of magnesium. No artificial colours or flavours and no preservatives. Just great nuts. The best part is it's an Australian product. These are fantastic straight out of the pack as a healthy snack or in sweet or savoury cooking and because they're so pretty and ... MoreJust Delicious. Fresh and crisp. No rancid smell upon opening the bag. Crisp and crunchy but not hard on the teeth. Earthy and nutty flavour. Close to eating freshly shelled walnuts. Mixture of perfect halves, quarters and broken bits. Convenient resealable bag, great size to maintain freshness of walnuts and store either in pantry or as a on the go snack. I have not bought this product before. Walnuts is a pantry staple for me. I usually buy bulk as I use them to make walnut spread. Unfortunately this product is a bit pricey by comparison. So not a rebuy unless as a on the go snack. No preference in how I use them. For this sample, I had a small handful with a simple fresh salad. Had the walnuts with fruit and yoghurt. Ate it on its own. I plan to use the rest to make a coffee ... MoreFresh and crisp. No rancid smell upon opening the bag. Crisp and crunchy but not hard on the teeth. Earthy and nutty flavour. Walnuts for all occasions. Had recently purchased walnuts from another brand and found that they tasted a bit on the rancid side so was keen to try these out. These walnuts taste fresh. Crunchy and pleasant flavour. We decided to add these to one of our garden salads just to give it a bit of something different. Highly recommend these walnuts. But I would probably buy the generic Woolworths branded walnuts rather than the Macro brand just for cost saving purposes (These ones cost $8 for 250g)I would think that these would also taste good in some baked muffins or banana bread.

Couldn't fault these. My family and I eat a lot of different nuts, so I was interested to try these and see what they'd be like. I had a bit of difficulty finding them at my local Woolworths store. I presumed that since they were 'Macro' that I'd find them in the health food section, but eventually found them in the nut section. The bag was easy to open and I liked that it had a zip lock seal, so it was easy to close it, without the walnuts drying out. The walnuts were crunchy and fresh (unlike some walnuts that can be dry and stale tasting). They were all a good size in the bag, there didn't seem to be much crumbs in there, which I liked. We used them in a variety of ways, chopped up and mixed with a salad, mixed with some yoghurt and muesli, I made some chocolate walnut balls (recipe already on Bunch) and then just mixed with other nuts for a snack. They're suitable for vegetarians and vegans and have no artifical colours, flavours or preservatives. They have a 5 health star rating, and they're Australian grown. Big big ticks for this. On the back of the bag it gives a few ideas for ways of serving the walnuts, which if you don't eat them often could be helpful. Price wise, at $8 for a 250g bag, I think that's standard pricing for quality walnuts and what I would be paying if I went to the local market and got them from there. There really wasn't anything that I didn't like about these and I would definitely recommend them. Thank you Bunch for giving me the opportunity to sample this product.

My kind of nut! Love walnuts, so many varied uses. I add them to all sort of baking, top my yoghurt and fruit of a morning, add them to a cheese platter and just plain old snack on them. The fact these are Australian walnuts is a bonus as a lot of walnuts are Californian, not that there is anything wrong with that but I guess sometimes the food miles is important. An interesting walnut fact is that they are shaped like a brain (have a close look!!) and this is because they are classed as a brain food. Maybe that's why I eat so many to increase the brain function. haha!! Anyway this generous pack is another outstanding Macro product. Easy to locate on the shelf and at a good price point of $8.

Healthy Walnuts. These Healthy walnut which are Australian come in a nice resealable packet that is easy to open. The nuts are a good size and can be easily chopped if you require a finer chopped walnut. I have used in a salad, with cheese on a platter, in a slice and in topping for a apple crumble which were all really good with the addition of this walnut Bunch sample. Until I read the packet I was not aware that walnuts are a good source of magnesium so another bonus. From memory the price point was about $7. 00 for the 250g packet. I have another packet in my pantry and the use buy date is 7 Dec 2023, so they will last your cooking needs for a while. Will continue to purchase when I need more walnuts. Thank you Bunch.

Fresh and Crunchy. These Australian produced walnuts were fresh and crunchy also convenient that they are unshelled and ready to eat. I normally buy whole walnuts in the shell and this was a nice change but you can eat more like this because they are addictive. These are also nice to eat with dried figs and great to use in baking. It's a bit on the expensive side but worth it at $8. 00 for a 250g pack and support Australian farmers also comes in a resealable pack to retain freshness which is great. Highly recommend anyone to give them a try. Thanks Bunch for the generous sample and will definitely purchase in the future.
