My fav protein water! Sooooooo good! It mixes in perfectly no lumps or grainy texture. Pretty much just turns water into fruit juice except without all the sugar and it also contains protein! So good! Defo recommend

I adore Macro Mike products but unfortunately this is one that couldn’t win me over. The taste is far too strong and if you only use one scoop you’re drinking a large amount for only 6 grams of protein. I was hoping to swap the protein water out for my afternoon shake but for those reasons it’s a no. Please increase the protein per serve and don’t make the flavour so strong! Then this would be a winner like all your other amazing products.

I really wanted to love this product especially as it was a bit of an investment to buy. The main issue is how overwhelmingly sweet and chemical it is. The recommended dose is 2 scoops in 500-750ml water giving 12g protein. This was way too sweet - I just couldn’t drink it. I did one scoop in 750ml but still found it unpalatable and sweet (I normally have a huge sweet tooth) and with only 2g of protein in each 250ml glass it was a lot of volume to consume for not much extra protein. To get through 1.5l of fluid I didn’t enjoy the taste of to get 12g of extra protein wasn’t worth it. Logistically cheaper and easier to have something like a hard boiled egg. Love the idea but it’s just not great. Also the company that makes it sent a bunch of unsolicited emails. The Apple and Mango Plant Protein Water is something that we buy over and over again, as it's the best in the market! The blend of apple and mango is delicious, with no chalky aftertaste and a real thirst quencher as it feels more like a refreshing fruit-infused water than a typical protein drink. The texture is really light and dissolves easily in water and does not clump. You don't need to use a protein shaker bottle as it will just go in any bottle dissolving with a light shake. The packaging is convenient for on-the-go hydration. Highly recommended!
I love how easy it is to make this protein water and that it doesn’t have that powdery/chalky texture. The Apple and Mango is my second favourite of the 4 flavours I’ve tried. I’m yet to find one I don’t like. I wish there was a sample pack with all of the flavours or a second type with the other ones that’s not in the pack.
It mixes/dissolves well and I love the added probiotics and vitamins… but I find it way too sweet and over bearing. It is so so sickly sweet tasting and smelling. I’m not a huge fan of the stevia taste either. I double if not triple the recommended amount of water so I can drink it and it’s still not enjoyable at all. I was expecting this to be my fave flavour but it’s easily the worst for me. The apple blackcurrant would be my recommendation over pink lemonade. But all the protein water have the same awful stevia taste that lingers in the mouth for ages. I’ll stick with Mikes shakes instead.
I wanted so much to like this, but unfortunately do not like it, or any of the other protein waters from Macro Mike.. They have a sickly sweet taste and very funny after taste, and actually made me feel sick.. I spent a fortune on the full bag and also the sample pack, but don't like any of them.. I researched the return policy but it says the product would need to be unused.. There is the problem, how would you know unless you open it!! I posted mine on the local community page and gave it away - Hopefully they like it better than me!.
Pink lemonade - Way too sweet to drink. The consistency was surprisingly good though (thin like water). Diluting it isn't really an option as a single serving is already quite a large volume (recommended serving size makes 750ml - 1.5L). I'm going to throw it away. If they ever manage to make a flavourless one I'd be keen.
I really wanted to like this. I'm vegetarian, an endurance athlete, older and I struggle with getting enough protein so it would be ideal to top up by drinking extra flavoured water. The product has got a cute packet, and pink lemonade sounds mmm. I didn't find it mmmm. It dissolves well, isn't overly coloured when in the glass, but...it's not for me. And I'm not sure I'm going to be brave enough to try a different brand in a hurry either, it's taking a lot of effort to get through the expensive bag. I'd say...buy a sample first, if it works for you, great, it's such a cool idea!
