Handy and Fresh. Loved the convenient pack size and freshness of this product. Used for salads, in smoothies and in cooked meals. We love spinach and the fact that the leaves were organic, was a bonus for our health conscious family.

No more wasting spinach with these handy portions! Any product by Macro Organic is full of quality - and these Chopped Spinach Leaf Portions were no exception! Great flavour, not watery in any way, and so convenient! Want to boost your veggie intake or hide it in foods from your kids who are fussy eaters, these portion sizes are perfect to throw into anything! Smoothies, pasta sauces, soups, dips … the choice is yours! I would purchase this product again, and recommend it to all of my family and friends!

Unimpressive but tastes OK. I have used frozen spinach pellets previously and love their convenience as well as the quality of the tightly packed cubes with very small spinach pieces so I bought a bag a couple of months ago and hadn't used it yetThe other day I did, making a spinach and parmesan quicheThe spinach pellets were not neat and tightly packed They were assorted sizes ( covered in ice which shouldn't be the case) and the spinach had lots of huge stalks and generally looked like it had been mowed with a blunt shredder. The previous product I had used was far superiorThe above photo shows the four pellets I used and yes the back one is half the size of the front one ( its not trick photographyThis photo shows the remainder of the pellets in their bag and the ... MoreUnimpressive but tastes OK. That wasn't the case thankfully. When I tried the quiche the spinach had quite a strong flavourNot overpowering but definitely spinach ( unlike those cheese and spinach pastries Woolworths sell) which is why this product got it's thrid star ( it really is a two star product that got lucky)I also wasn't aware of it's stringiness once in the quiche. Something to be aware of is that as an addition to a wet dish ( spinach bechamel lasagna or a curry) squeezing out the excess water isn't necessary and may lead to a stronger flavourWith a quiche or any other 'dry' dish it is imperative to remove the water My quiche would have been ruined with an extra 2/3 cup of green waterYes I'll post the quiche recipe in the next few days

Reliable source of iron. Finally, after what seems like an eternity, this product has now appeared in the freezer of my local store. I knew there were stockist issues so pleased that is now sorted. A great addition to our spaghetti bolognese comfort food dish. Well, these perfect portion sizes are such a healthy & convenient option to ensure I have iron necessary to help me through these covid-19 anxieties. Am pleased to have the rest of the packet at easy access to add a dose of essential vitamin and colour to my cooking;

Love this! Will be a regular purchase for my freezer staple! I rarely give full star ratings especially when the packaging could be resealable but I can oversee this inconvenience as I have been enjoying adding the perfectly portioned chopped spinach leaves into my meals as quick and healthy alternative to fresh spinach! I love the fact that the individual portions are easy accessible and that you can add some freshness to your meals without compromising on flavour and texture!I added it to my Asian style vegetarian vermicelli noodle soup and in my pasta dish which I zapped the spinach leaves bundle in the microwave along with some frozen sweet corn and stirred through some mayonnaise with smoked salmon mixed in! Convenient and portioned spinach. This spinach is very convenient and portioned perfectly to add to meals and smoothies. It is just as nutritious as fresh spinach with no issues of wastage and tasted just as good. Defrosting was quick and easy with two methods suggested on the package. It is great to see that it is snap frozen for freshness, is organic and contains no other ingredients but spinach. Unfortunately it is packed in Belgium from multiple origins which is not ideal for me. Overall, I quite enjoyed the taste and would consider buying it in the future.

Easy to use! just so convenient! I just love this product!. Other frozen spinach products tend to have so much moisture in them after defrosted that you have to squeeze out, but this didnt. Made the process of adding it to my pasta dish and making me spinach and ricotta lasagne so much quicker. Tasted fresh and because its chopped up already easy peasy adding it to anything. No bulky chunks of spinach the kids screw their noses up at, just tastes little morsels to compliment your dishes. Price was worth it as got three nearly 4 meals out of it and so easy to find in the frozen vegetable section. :) Also you cant go past organic! noo chemicals so tastes so much fresher and better for you

Love this product! Was hesitant to try this as most of the frozen spinach that I've used when defrosted are a bit slimy but this was a game changer. Product was in a plastic bag which was ok so you could jam it in the freezer and not worry about space like. Spinach was portioned into small clumps which made it convenient if you wanted to add more in what you're cooking. Taste was really good, you can taste clean flavors of the spinach and you could tell it was flashfrozen straight away as the product isn't turning murky green as you cook it long. I added mine to a pasta sauce without even defrosting and just letting it melt into the sauce. Also cooked it for breakfast as a side. Price is reasonable as it is organic to start plus if you cook spinach from fresh, you ... MoreLove this product! I would recommend this product if you need some greens to eat, it is convenient to use and tasty.

Great in smoothies. This product is very easy to find in the frozen freezer section with all of the frozen veggies. I have been buying this all through lockdown and adding it to my smoothies for that extra veggie intake. I was buying 4 bags at a time. It looks very fresh and I have it in my smoothies and I can’t taste it. I did add a little to my stir fry one night and it tasted great and gave it some good colour. I love that it’s in little blocks making it very convenient to just pull a couple out at add to your dishes, smoothies, soups etc Great value for money 5 health rating ✅ I loved that it’s organic ✅ Great colours on the packaging and there is a clear strip on the front so you can see what you are buying. A great way to add veggies into meals. I really like this product! With the ingredients being 100% organic spinach, it is a very easy way too add veggies into your meals. I added one block frozen into the mixture I was cooking to make chicken and veggie pies. It easily thawed as the mixture was cooking and broke up as I stirred. This would be a great way to hide extra veggies into food for kids as it’s not all the noticeable, it looks a bit like herbs! I love that it is adding extra iron to my meals. I couldn’t taste the spinach at all in my pies which for me, was a good thing. These could easily be added to pasta, curries, stews, casseroles, smoothies and so much more. At $5 for 450g I feel it is pretty reasonably priced. At the time of writing this, loose baby ... MoreA great way to add veggies into meals. I really like this product! At the time of writing this, loose baby spinach is $17 a kilo so for almost half a kilo it is good value. I would love if the packaging was resealable. I deducted 1 star as the packet says “packed in Belgium from multiple origins” so doesn’t actually state where the spinach is grown. Overall I was very impressed and am looking forward to adding this to more of my dishes in the future.
