AS GOOD AS 'OTHER' FLOURS. In my opinion, this is as good as any other more expensive flour. I made my usual 'cream scones', & they 'rose' about the same, as 'normal' SR flour. I'm not sure if you can tell difference, however being 'organic' you will pay more, due to this fact. I am always slightly skeptical when purchasing 'organic', I daresay it potentially is better for you, however being in the 'much older' region, I'm used to 'normal'. If I was younger I daresay I would certainly look into buying more organically grown produce due to 'adverse' things being used in food these days. All in All yes good product for my 'baking'.

Organic pantry staple. This has been a staple in my baking since Woolies first introduced it into stores. I know it’s more expensive than non organic self raising flour but compared to other organic flours I use to buy this is a great price point. I use it to make cakes, cookies just to name a few things. It’s non bleached and only contains organic product. There has been times over the last few years when I couldn’t get my hands on it and used none organic and yes I did see a difference in textures with my baking so I think it’s totally worth the buy.

Hard to review but super happy with it. I normally wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between this and normal flour but something about it seemed better. Maybe it felt like it was better quality because of the packaging and being organic, who knows ‍♀️Anyways, I used some of this to make some fritters. I don’t usually get the results I did with this product. They turned out perfectly. Golden and crispy. I would pay that bit more for it in the future.

Pricey but practical and pantry-essential! I admit I had not tried this product before as the price put me off. It is about double the price of regular flour. I understand this is because it is organic, unbleached and triple sifted. Anything certified organic is usually healthier/better tasting/environmentally superior but of course this comes at a price to the consumer. I made some scones with the traditional cream and a homemade strawberry jam full of plump ripe strawberries. I must admit it was divine and my guests went back for seconds. I will make a few more products using this to give it a try. Really like this. Found this Macro self raising flour really good quality. The flour itself is fine and very easy to use when baking. i don’t tend to choose organic - tho after using this and the macro plain flour - I’d probably choose macro organic over other brands. the price is a bit high for the products and for flour and self raising flour. That’s my only downside. But this self raising flour was fantastic to cook with, I loved the quality of it and how it looked and how fine it was. the packaging was great - both for storing the flour and also on the shelf to easily identify. will buy again - but price being lower would be better and mean more people could regularly buy it.
Works well. I made two batches of lemonade scones. One with a name brand and the other Woolies. The woollies one sifted really well with no hard bits at. The scone mix appearance was a little less but made the same amount. Cooking wise the woollies scones didn’t rise as well as the others and the texture on the inside were a little finer. Overall though they were fine. Unless I’m in a baking competition I d use it again. Woolies one is on the right.
Healthier. This product has a half star health rating more than the Home brand option. Lower sodium but higher sugar and fat. A higher price as well. I suppose that's the trade off for using "organic" products that are supposed to be the healthier option. I did not notice any difference in the taste after baking with it and comparing. I am NOT a baker so maybe someone who is skilled would notice. I would stick with the cheaper option because of this.
3 Ingredients Better than Cheesecake. I had to make something for a morning tea and wanted something fast and homemade and FAST . Poured 3. 5 cups inot a ziplock and grabbed a can of lemonade and 300ml cream from the fridge as I ran out the door. Got to work, poured it all into a bowl (300ml of the lemonade) mixed for 1 min with a knife and patted it into a rectangle in baking paper on a cookie sheet. Baked for 25mins hot oven after scoring it. A jar of jam and can of cream and they didn’t eat the cheesecake. It went faster than the sausage rolls. I’d say that’s a hit!
Affordable organic flour. So great to get a sample of a product that’s a pantry staple for me. Triple sifted, unbleached organic self raising flour retailing for $4. 50. Made in Australia from at least 96% Australian ingredients, and ACO Certified Organic. Being organic the grains have not been exposed to chemicals or pesticides. No artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and suitable for vegetarians. This is a beautiful fine flour which I use in all my baking. Macro is a great affordable option for organic products. Thank you so much bunch for my sample.
