Nice and peanutie! I love peanut butter, so I was very excited to get this. I like that it's the Macro brand. I like that it's organic. It's also made in Oz albeit that some ingredients were imported. Upon opening the lid, there were quite a thick layer of oil on top as well as plenty of chopped peanut pieces. Took a little bit to mix it up. The texture is runnier than my usual brand, so there were leakage through the holes of my sourdough! The taste is sweet rather than savoury like my usual brand but still tasty! It's very peanutie, the texture is as peanut butter should be. All in all, I really liked this product. The label states that once opened it must be kept in the fridge, so I'll have to see what'll it be like straight out of the fridge!

Nothing added, BONUS! Any product that is certified organic I'm happy to buy. The taste is as expected, good old natural peanut butter. No fillers, no salt, no sugar and no other oils or emulsifiers. Price is reasonable and I also love that it comes in a glass jar as, all oil products should. Oil and plastic, not a good combination. Only reason for the 4 stars was because the peanuts aren't from Australia but from some unknown country that isn't listed on the jar. Label says 'imported ingredients'? That seems to be common practice with many products now? I wish all companies would divulge where the ingredients are sourced from. Great peanut butter. Peanut butter has long been a beloved staple in many households (including my own), and for good reason. Its rich, creamy texture and indulgent taste make it a versatile ingredient for numerous recipes, snacks, and sandwiches. So I was super excited to receive this as a recent Bunch sample!Easy to find with all the other peanut butters - the purple organic logo on the label helps it stand out from the crowd. Like all really good peanut butters, it needed a good stir on opening. Once that was done, it was ready to easily spread on some toast (my go to peanut butter treat!). Great crunch and you could really taste the roasted element of the peanuts. Thank you Bunch for this great sample - I will be purchasing again!
Prefer Woolworths Smooth Peanut Butter. I usually eat Woolworths Smooth Peanut Butter but was happy to try the Macro Organic brand. The first thing I noticed was the excessive oil on the top which needed to be stirred in. The flavour was bland and unpleasant and the texture very sticky. It took some time to remove the peanut butter from the roof of my mouth. The label advised that it was made in Australia from imported ingredients and I was disappointed to learn that it did not contain Australian peanuts. Compared to Woolworths Smooth Peanut Butter at $2. 40 for 500 grams, I found the price of $6. 00 for 375 grams excessive. I will be sticking to my Woolworths Smooth Peanut Butter and won't be purchasing the Macro Organic or recommending it to my friends.
