An alternative to dairy! Sometimes it’s good to take a break from dairy products…when you have sinus or cold symptoms, for example. So I tried it in coffee but soy doesn’t make a cappuccino with the same flavour as cows milk, so that is a no no for me. Instead, I made a smoothie with bananas, yoghurt, soy milk and pure maple syrup. Delicious!Next I experimented by using soy to make a bread & butter custard. Seemed creamy just like milk. I added plenty of vanilla and sultana’s to make sure the flavour wasn’t overpowering. That also tasted very delicious. The packaging is eye catching and lid opens easily and pours well without drips. Cant see any nasties in the ingredientsSource of calcium and protein I can tell the difference between soy and dairy, but am happy to ... MoreAn alternative to dairy! Meh! Macro Organic Soy Long Life Milk is easy to find on the shelf, my local Woolies and Metro stores always have stock. Packaging is okay, it doesn't excite me to drink soy "milk", but it could have been a bit more brighter and fancier especially the "Soy Milk" text it looks too block-like and plain. Easy to open and pour lid. The smell is typical old school soy milk, smells like cardboard. The look is not appealing but hey that is soy milk. The taste is excessively sweet and cardboard like. I don't drink soy and steer away from soy products if I can so I tasted a 30ml shot warm, 30ml shot cold, and also frothed a small latte to see how it went. It was yuck warm, yuck cold, and definitely didn't froth well. It might be "smooth" as stated on the product but ... MoreMeh! If you are going to be using it for your barista like coffees then skip this one, better brands out there that do the job if you pay a bit more. If you need soy "milk" in your life and are okay with excessive sweetness and old school cardboard like taste and smell then go for it, if you need to drink soy "milk" but have a bigger budget then I suggest you go for gold and buy a better quality brand as this soy "milk" was not worthy of being in a cafe. If you are merely drinking it for "health" reasons then you are just torturing yourself and not really drinking a "milk" that is that good for your health. Not here to lecture on what is and isn't a "milk" or health choices but just throwing that suggestion in.

Creamy, delicious soy. I love this milk for me and my family. I love that it’s made from whole organic soybeans, instead of soy protein isolate which most other soy mills have. It’s a creamy consistency and really pleasant to drink. The flavour may not appeal to people who are trying plant milk for the first time as it’s quite different to animal based milks, but I personally love this milk’s taste. I like it on cereals or just by the glass best. It’s not the best for coffee or hot chocolate in my preference.

Great Soy Milk. This milk is made from whole organic soybeans, which is different to other soy based milks which often use soy protein. It has a smooth and creamy consistency, and it is not watery which does often occur with many other soy milks on the market. At cost is $1. 60 per litre this milk is very reasonable compared to other soy milks which are not organic. Soy milk is a great alternative to use in cooking or your favourite thai curry dish where it can be used to replace the traditional coconut milk. The whole soy bean product makes up 17% of the ingredient's, which is compared to other soy milks is higher than normal. The milk is made in Australia from at least 77% Aussie product, so it is great to support our Australian growers and suppliers. I love that ... MoreGreat Soy Milk. I love that this product is organic and predominately Australian, thanks for the sample bunch this will be a return buy for me
Not a fan. Soy latte is my drink of choice, but I would not make it using this milk. If you are someone who uses soy milk on their cereal, or to drink cold, then this milk is fine. It wouldn't be my first choice, as I feel there are others on the market that are much nicer and in the same price bracket. Great if you are looking for an organic product, but that is not a priority for me. I did end up using the whole litre, so that it did not get wasted, but I had to mix it with my regular soy milk in order to make it palatable in my coffee. This milk does not have a smooth, nutty flavour when heated- but rather becomes bitter and acidic. Not really a fan, and would not buy this product again.
Soy-ific! I had never had soy milk prior to this sample. It was smooth & creamy as stated and different to what I expected. It's ACO certified organic and made from a least 77% Australian ingredients. It's suitable for vegans and vegetarians. 1 cup contains 37% RDI of calcium. The product doesn't contain gluten or lactose. The packaging is great with a long expiry which if unopened doesn't require refrigeration. The packaging is also recyclable. The product comes with a replacement or refund guarantee. It was easy to locate with the other long life milks and was a similar cost.
NOT MY CHOICE OF MILK. I'm not one to drink milk on it's own, I always have it in a smoothie so this review may not be a true representation of the product's true taste. I added the milk to my banana smoothie so I couldn't really tell if there was a strong soy flavour. It definitely tasted different to the coconut milk I usually have and it was of a slightly watery consistency. I personally wouldn't purchase soy milk however I can say that the price and packaging get my approval. The packaging was quite vibrant which I loved and made it easier to find on the shelf. There are so many long life varieties of milk so this was a clear winner! All I can suggest is give it a go and see what you think! Worst case, keep it as a back up in case of that random visitor that ... MoreNOT MY CHOICE OF MILK. Great in my breakfast. I hadn't yet tried this product even though I've slowly been drinking more long life milk, but I've been trying almond milk so soy was going to be a bit different for me. It was easy enough to find at Woolworths and stood out on the shelf. The carton wasn't difficult to open. I couldn't tell a lot of difference. I put it in my oats and muesli for breakfast and it tasted just as good as the almond milk. It had the right amount of sweetness for me. It has a 4. 5 health star rating. While I thought it might have been 5 health star rating, 4. 5 is still pretty good. It's suitable for vegans and vegetarians too. It's Made in Australia from at least 77% Australian ingredients. For $1. 60 it's well priced and I will definitely consider purchasing this again in the future. Thank you Bunch for giving me the opportunity to sample this product.
Too sweet. This is an improvement on the previous iteration of Macro Soy Milk (which was gritty and revolting). This is smooth and creamy with a nice texture and doesn't separate much. However, it is unpleasantly sweet due to the rice syrup. I don't like sweetened soy milk and hence will continue not to buy this product. Three stars because it is actually drinkable (unlike the previous formulation) and is Australian made. I don't require the extra expense of organic, which is another reason I wouldn't buy this. I'll stick to my (unsweetened) Vitasoy Protein Plus thanks all the same.
Not bad. I was dreading trying this one! I have tried other soy ‘milk’ and didn’t like it at all. I tried this firstly by itself, it didn’t taste unlike oat ‘milk’. Hmm, not bad. Next I trie it with my coffee, that’s where I use oat milk. I found the taste ok, but boy, was it sweet! Looking at the ingredients shows that it’s sweetened. And yet it has 4 1/2 HSR?At $1. 60 for a 1 litre carton, it’s cheap enough. Only made from 77% Australian ingredients, not the best. Why does it need sugar, Organic or otherwise? I thought sugar was the bad guy in today’s world?? Will I purchase in the future? No, it’s far too sweet would I recommend? No. Thanks for the chance to try.
