Maeda Shiki Matcha Green Tea, 1-Ounce

This is a great universal grade matcha. I use it for making matcha lattes and baking all the time. It has great taste, color and is affordable. It checks all m boxes.

I have seen this product on celebrity Istagram and such, so I was eager to try it, as I received it at a discount for my honest review.It is green, very green, but tastes smooth and has many health benefits. I first tried it basic with water, as a tea and it is quite good, just green. Kinda strange that a green drink tastes like tea. It seems to be a smooth, clean taste and there are many recipes out there for quick lattes and more froofy drinks to make with it. I did feel the energy it gave me in the afternoon, and probably wouldn't drink late at night, since any caffeine tends to affect me.I would recommend this product for anyone looking for a tea that has many benefits and is organic.

I transitioned from coffee to matcha about 7 months ago. The transition was definitely an adjustment, but when I found this (courtesy of my BF), my life changed I swear. Literally drink it daily, you don’t need much and the taste is so FULL! Definitely replaces coffee well and is so yummy

When you drink it as a tea, it has delicate rich earthy green color with aromatic scent, and it is pleasantly bitter, however, if you are not a big fan of bitter taste of matcha, just add simple syrup (sugar), milk, ice cubes, mix it together and voila!! green tea latte. Matcha powder is highly versatile, I can add it to most of the dessert, from cake to pudding, it is not only transform the appearance but it makes ordinary dessert to be extraordinary.Matcha also received even more attention when research found out matcha contains lots of antioxidants. A little bit of this matcha goes a long way. The flavor is strong but pleasant. I like to add it to genmaicha tea or sencha green tea to give it a more complex flavor. I'm not a big baker, but I do want to try to add this in to a pastry. Matcha all day every day :)

This is, I have been told, the best matcha powder you can buy in the states. There is no sugar or other flavorings and it is definitely potent. I drink it, but also have baked with it and added it to smoothies. Delicious. Forget the Starbucks matcha powder and other commercial American brands. This is far superior.

I use this matcha powder for making desserts and the bold flavor with the right amount of bitterness is the best. Color is rich, aroma, and flavor is the best!! Made a matcha Mille Crepe Cake for my husband’s birthday

Love This Matcha

I've tried a couple of different matcha brands and this has been my favorite so far. I really like the taste of it (no bitter) and it blends really well. I enjoy drinking it traditionally or in an oat milk vanilla matcha latte.

Smooth & Delicious Matcha

Of the many ceremonial teas I've tried, this Maeda En is one of the best! It's smooth and herbal with no bitterness what so ever and is a bright green color. It also dissolves well while whisking. My favorite way to start the morning! Highly recommended.
