I love Thai curry! I love red curry for its spice and incredible flavor. I normally make my own curry paste but recently moved to an area that I cannot get the raw ingredients so I purchased this on Amazon. My friend from Thailand recommended this brand. I love the thick can and they are stackable so they take little space on my cabinet. I opened and it is overwhelming fish sauce smell. I started to cook it in the pan to get the water out and thicken the sauce, but the smell is so strong of fish sauce. I love fish sauce but this is so strong. I then add coconut milk. This has no flavor at all just salty. I added some extra garlic, ginger, and other spices, but this was just not good.

I always have this paste at home, so I can make green curry chicken anytime. You have to stir fried the paste first until it smells very good before adding meats and coconut milk. Love this paste, it’s tasty!

I always say this- when I'm on my deathbed and I can only request 1 more meal, it'll be Panang. That's how much I love this dish. This is a really good paste to make homemade Panang with. It's not my favorite but if you cook it with good coconut milk (not that crap the sell at the grocery) it will turn out quite good.

This brand is one of the best, specially when making asian curry dishes. Very great price spicy..love the flavor! You can buy this at your local Asian store. When we make Lao Kaopoon this is the paste we add into the pot.
One of the most authentic tasting curry pastes I have tried. Freezes really well too so any spare can be frozen in ice cube trays for later use.
I love curry, but usually get mild. This is BAM spicy. This had tears streaming down my face. But I still ate it, because it was sooo good!
I've tried many different green curry pastes and this one is my 2nd favorite, with Mae Ploy being my favorite. But it is difficult to find Mae Ploy in a smaller size. This is a much more convenient size. None wasted, therefore, making it a better value while only sacrificing a little flavor. If you're a Mae Ploy fan but can't find it or are tired of wasting paste, give this a try!
