[This review was collected as part of a promotion. ] Wholegrain noodles - another variety and choice to choose from its great but keep it simple. The thought of eating whole grain sounds healthy! Nothing new with these chicken wholegrain noodles. Made in Malaysia. Can’t Australia make them. ? Vegetables advertised in the photograph but there were none in it. Seasoning is very mildI wouldBut these again but there was not a big noticeable difference in brands when comparing.

I received this product from influenster in exchange for my honest review. I tried the Maggi 2 Minute Noodles in Chicken flavor recently and found them to be a bit bland with an unusual aftertaste. Although they claim to cook in just 2 minutes, it actually took a bit longer for the noodles to reach the right consistency. On the positive side, I liked the fluffy texture of the noodles, and they were able to quickly incorporate with other ingredients to create a more satisfying meal. Overall, while the convenience factor is there, the taste could use some improvement to make it a more enjoyable dining experience.

Everyone in my house loved the spicey chicken ones but they now seemed to of dissapeared off the supermarket shelfs. Dont really like the original chicken one the flavouring is horrible. I suppose the chicken packet with the egg on the front are alright but u have to buy each packet of them ones seperate while the other ones you used to be able to buy in a multipack of 5. the spicey chicken ones was perfect. I wont be buyimg any more of these regular chicken noodles unless the spicey version is brought back 👍

I used to absolutely love these noodles and now they are just awful. Should advertise them as spicy not as chicken, they are not chicken noodles at all. The old flavour was the best. Have been eating these for years and now I won’t be buying them ever again. I have seen a few comments to say they thought they had the wrong seasoning pack in error, I thought the same but have tried a few now and they’re all this horrible spicy flavour. Completely messed up with this one.
I’ve been buying maggi chicken noodles for my daughter now for 3 years. It’s a food I can guarantee she’ll eat during difficult food periods, it’s a safe food. We bought a multipack last week, served a pack to my daughter who started crying after the first mouthful saying her mouth was burning and spicy. I tasted them myself and was shocked at how hot the spice was for a supposedly chicken noodle. I even double checked the packaging to see if I had purchased the wrong flavour or if the wrong flavour had been put in a chicken packet. No where on the packet does it mention that these noodles are spicy. I expect a chicken product to just taste of chicken like most other chicken noodles. My daughter now refuses to try any of the alternative noodles I’ve bought as she’s ... MoreI’ve been buying maggi chicken noodles for my daughter now for 3 years. Love maggi noodles and have always gone for them over any other brand of noodles. I don’t like spicy food so have always opted for the chicken over the curry. VERY disappointed to start eating them today and find they are spicy! They aren’t unbearably spicy but I chose chicken for chicken, not to have a spice. Had to keep asking the wife to check the packet as I was sure we must have brought curry, but we found that it’s a new recipe now.Knowing they taste like this I won’t be buying them again. If I wanted spicy noodles I’d buy curry. Most disappointing bit is nowhere on the packet does it disclose the spice, I know many people give these noodles to their children and I personally think it would be to spicy for many children. Also what is this oil that now ... I wanted basic flavoured noodles not same fancy Asian noodles.Recipes has changed for the worst.
The maggi noodles are not great (no bite to them) and the flavour sachet (you only get one powder one per pack with this brand) taste pretty much like pure stock powder, so are disappointing on their own... however a few cheap additions make them quite tasty, so I still have some on hand for when I feel like a soup noodle rather than mu usual 'go to'Indomie (fried noodle variety). Use less water than pack states, plus chuck in some sweet chilli sauce, black pepper, seasonal veges cut small enough to cook in same time as noodles - eg shredded cabbage (yum in this), broccoli, frozen peas. If budget allows + available, some sliced cooked chorizo or spicy kransky sausage works well too. The maggi noodles (complete with flavour sachet) make a good extra addition to a ... Like most of the comments here, I am in agreement. This product disappeared from the shelves for a few months, and reappeared with a 'new recipe' which has completed destroyed a once tasty snack. The noodles are thinner, do not absorb water and plump up liked they used too, and even worse are very salty and spicey and just not enjoyable. On comparison of ingredients, this seems to be a cost cutting exercise to keep the spiraling costs of ingredients down and still provide the product at an affordable price point. The noodles are now only 70% wheat flour, whereas they used to be 79%. The cost of wheat has increased drastically due to Russia and Ukraine being two of the largest exporters of wheat globally. The noodles are now only 70% wheat flour, whereas they used to be 79%. The cost of wheat has increased drastically due to Russia and Ukraine being two of the largest exporters of wheat globally. This has been offset with thickener and therefore more salt to flavour. The seasoning appears to undergone a cost cutting exercise too, going from a pepper, ginger, parsley and yeast extract mix, to basically pepper and chili (cheaper). This has resulted in the nutritional values actually being worse under the new recipe. A pack is now 11.1g of fat (used to be 10.4g), 1.6g saturates (used to be 0.8g), 0.7g sugar (used to be 1.7g - every cloud eh!) and finally worse of all, 2.24g salt (used to be 1.47g).If anyone from Maggi or Nestle reads this, I understand your dilemma, but producing something no one likes at a cheap price is not superior to producing a once great product at a higher price point. If you have no plans to return to the old recipe, at least be honest with us and rebrand them 'chili' flavour!
I often bought the Maggi chicken flavour 3 minute noodles, and was bereft when they suddenly disappeared from all my local shops. I missed them so for several months and was relieved when they finally reappeared on the shelves. I excitedly bought several packets, but unfortunately the new recipe is way too spicy and artificial-tasting - and nothing like the original recipe.I know a lot of disabled people relied on the original recipe as they were one of the few plain, non-spicy instant noodle options available. Autistic people; people who have eating disorders such as ARFID; people who have oesophageal or gastrointestinal conditions; diabetics; people going through chemotherapy; people who suffer with mobility conditions/fatigue so can't cook complex meals; and ... Autistic people; people who have eating disorders such as ARFID; people who have oesophageal or gastrointestinal conditions; diabetics; people going through chemotherapy; people who suffer with mobility conditions/fatigue so can't cook complex meals; and other people who often need to eat plain/the same foods. It can be very difficult to transition from one 'safe' food to another, especially when the options are limited - I've tried some store-brand chicken flavour noodles in the mean time, and they're not the same!It is such a shame that the recipe has been changed - it wouldn't be so bad if it was a nice spicy flavour, but it isn't nice even if you do like spicy noodles! There are plenty of other brands that make spicy noodle flavours well, but not so many that make plain flavours, so I really hope the original recipe will return soon. Please can you kindly consider reverting to the original recipe? Many thanks for your consideration.
Assume i was buying them when everyone was describing them as spicy. Sweety thats pepper. The word you're looking for is peppery. Anyway they were delicous, had a good flavour. Now the recipe changes with no indication that it had, the new recipe indicator is gone. I buy two packets and they're inedible. The noodles are dark and taste of nothing, the broth tastes like dirty dishwater, they smell disgusting, no seasoning comes through, i get no chicken flavour AT ALL.. People who like recipes dont review things, they just enjoy them. People who hate things look for an outlet to tell you they hate it. theres just gonna be a bias and you changed the recipe to be tasteless because people cant handle a bit of pepper.. great.. wont be buying these again.
