Magic The Gathering Time Spiral Remastered Draft Booster Box

This set in one my all time favorites! Loved the original Time Spiral and the same with this "new" version of it. I think Total Cards offered them at a really good price point, so recommend anyone who can to buy them as this one suits pretty much every type out there: is great for playing, good for collecting and also good if you are interested in buying to invest, either by selling singles or keeping the box sealed.When it comes to the service offered by Total Cards on my purchase, it was great service with quick shipping, amazing packaging and fair/competitive prices in the market. I've bought Magic the Gathering products, and they were packed to perfection. Can't recommend them enough, and will definitely buy again in the future.

An Absolute Gem of a Set For Limited Players... But Priced Like an Actual Gem by WotC, Sadly

I've continuously played MTG since 1996. I am one of those people who never sold out and has swabbed up playsets of everything from Arabian Nights forward, and am a Magic omnivore when it comes to play styles, formats and power levels. Of all of that interest and context, I can nonetheless say that Time Spiral block, when it came out, was a real highlight -- it was a very satisfyingly complex set full of references in both flavour and mechanics to the origins of the game, complete with interesting takes on card frames and a truly deep draft experience that never devolved into "archetype A versus archetype B."This set features a pared-down, concentrated approach to the Time Spiral experience, which drafts like a finely-polished version of the block. Also, you get an original-border subset card in every pack, and these are real treat (if you are used to the modern border, these are a fun diversion, and if you are like me and still think the original border and font style was the best and should never have been abandoned, well, you obviously can appreciate these.)Unfortunately, WotC has gone fully into "leave no money on the table" mode, and their pricing/marketing strategy people are basically subverting, as they have time and again with Masters sets and such, much of the hard balance work the designers have put into an excellent limited environment. Personally, I bought embarrassing stacks of Time Spiral Remastered booster boxes when they weren't $1 zillion dollars, even though I need precisely 0 of these reprints. Why? A) Singles flipping (with some luck), B) to keep a box or two sealed for greedily inflated sale years from now (I learned it by watching you, WotC, ha ha), but most importantly C), to build a cube out of this and thus be able to draft it with friends until the sun burns out. If these motivations sync up with one or more of yours, consider this: if the price is still nutty-high on this (not MM or any other seller's fault), reason A is now not a good one to buy this set in sealed-product form. Reason B might be -- but be careful. Reason C, meanwhile, might be a good reason to pick up singles from the set instead -- I'm sure MM will have them on-hand. Of course, you could always follow the set's list (and tweak as you like) and build your own cube out of the original prints of the cards, too, if you have them or would rather buy those.Bottom line: great in theory, but should be a $4 booster pack set, like everything should. WotC really makes it much harder to assess the worth of buying a booster of a set like this for people who aren't nuts like me, frankly, and that's a bummer and makes even nuts like me less interested in supporting the game in the future. That's a shame, though, if they are going to put out otherwise A-level stuff like this.

Cool Cards, Bit Pricey

Time Spiral Remastered is great (particularly love the throw backs and old style frames). Definitely pricey, at $349, but that's a general supply issue across the board for the release. Definitely got lots of fun stuff to play out of the box.

Little disappointed

The card was shipped in a thick plastic sleeve, and the actual card itself was impossible to remove without damaging the card. Wish better shipping method was chosen. Card still does the job, just slightly bent... Other than that, decent price on the item and good shipping time.
