This is the best processor I have had in a long line of machines. Perfect for a small household of 2. The motor is very quiet but powerful and each feature has been fast and well processed. So far I have used the processor, the shredder for vege prep for stir fry and the citrus juicer. The manual is clear and easy to follow. I have put all the bits in a square plastic bucket with a handle next to the machine on the bench- very compact so minimal room and can be moved around the kitchen as necessary. Completely sold on this machine!

A bit disappointed with the plastic holder - very thin, not thick, unlike my earlier Braun model. The body is heavy and appears well built, though. As a blender, pretty weak. Prefer my bullet blender. But saving grace was discovering its ability to chop veggies quickly. Saves me hours! And my vegetable intake has shot up now I can chop up anything in seconds.

This is an excellent little processor, and is perfectly capable of chomping through any tasks you throw at it. For bigger quantities, it just means a few more cycles of filling the mixer bowl, processing and emptying. It's ideal for couples, or for families who may not need to use a processor that often. One word of caution though. Please be extremely careful when fitting the slicing/grating disk (2 supplied) to the spindle, and especially when removing the disk from the spindle. It can be a quite difficult and a bit fiddly to remove, and you can very easily cut your finger on the slicing blade - as I did! Otherwise, an excellent, well made and powerful processor that well deserves 5 stars.

I have had my 2 mini plus machines for a few years now. I knew the power and versatility of the 5200XL and missed being able to use it when my Cook Expert was busy! I use my mini plus at these times and I use my second one when We go to our City House. I had not used a food processor before my Magimix CE and now I wonder how I managed in the past. It is so versatile and my mini can do the same albeit with smaller quantities. Salad prep is completed very quickly. Bread dough mixed efficiently etc. Marvellous technology and quality above my expectations. You won’t be disappointed!
So many tasks in one and perfect for a couple. I specifically wanted the grater for onions - there's a mini bowl so you can do small quantities without having to wash so much up. Also great for slice vegetables thinly and all the usually blender tasks

Twice, the shaft of the plastic cones bored into the centre hole of the juicing bowl after 1/2 uses. As I say, Magimix are very good in replacing damaged parts but I've now given up and bought the .
The edge of these blades are sharp enough to cut you. I cut my finger on it while trying to fit it. I’ve used 2 sunbeam mini over the last 40 years without any injuries. I’m really unhappy
It’s small but very powerful. Haven’t used all of the bits, so looking forward to discovering what it can do.One downside, I was trying to do breadcrumbs and unfortunately there is still a lot of large chunks of bread that hasn’t been done. Last night made a coleslaw and it took less time to chop the carrot and cabbage then taking ready made coleslaw out of the fridge, opening the tub and putting on the plate. Very impressed.
For Everyday use for a family of 4 this mini is perfect . The blades are sharp and slicing and dicing a breeze . Coleslaw and my favourite tapenade and dressings I do in minutes . It’s easy to use and easy to clean and more importantly takes up little space .
After the kids left home and I don't do so much catering anymore I decided to pop my Magimix 4200XL in the attic to be brought out when the masses arrive. However in the mean time I needed something that chops and shreds as my hands now being that much older have trouble with such tasks. I wanted the same robust performance that you get with Magimix but in a smaller version. I researched lots of different smaller processors and decided that I'd stick with a brand name that I know. I have not been disapointed and it now sits proudly on my counter top, looking stylish, not to mention how effective it is. So happy to say I'm really pleased.
