The boots are super-comfy, have great ankle-support and are very lightweight !They're well worth the money and I highly recommend them to anyone, who is standing or walking for long hours at work, like me as a Security Guard.

Bought these to replace old work boots, bad soles were giving me back problem. First day wearing these in the warehouse and instant gratification. There was about a two day break-in period but that was nothing compared to some other boots I've worn. Sturdy and even outer sole with plenty of cushion, tight ankle support and padding and the composite toe is a big win over the usual steel toes. I took these boots to help do some work on my dad's property and they toughed the mud quite well. The mud that got on the non leather section cleaned off like nothing was there.My only gripes I have are I find the Velcro zip fasteners come apart a bit easier than I'd like and secondly if I wear socks that aren't wool or bamboo then I will have to give the boots a good airing ... Ok, so if you know me, then you'll know I got a boot addiction, and so far,these guys have been scratching my itch for a few years now. Lots of awesome styles of boots. Well these are no exception, there has been no rubbing or hot spots with only 2days being worn constantly. Great boots and great service!!
I have been wearing the Magnum Strike Force 8.0 for 2 1/5 weeks now and the inner linning has begun to come away from the outer leather. The boots squeak when I walk and the inner lining becomes like a second sock making them extremely hard to take off at the end of the day. I got these boots as I walk great distances when I am at work and I need a boot that is long lasting and reliable. I don't recommend these if you are on your feet all day at work.
Great boots. Very comfy right out the box. I have brought them as part of my student paramedics uniform.. I seriously tested out the grip on the first day of wearing. I wheeled the green bin down one of the steepest and slimiest driveways on the Central Coast just after a dusting of rain. The bin was full to the brim with grass, must have weighed over 60kgs. I felt so safe, they stuck to the driveway like glue. The only con about them is one boot is really creaking but the other makes no sound. I’m just hoping the silent one will start creaking too, then my ears will finally be in a bilateral noise pollution heaven.
As a user of previous generation Strike Force Stealth 8.0 SZ boots by Magnum, first thing that struck me about this boot is that it has more flex around the ankle area on the top of your instep (where your shin bone meets your feet).The midsole and is very comfortable making this boot good for you if you're going to do a lot of hours on your feet. Maybe their claim about energy rebound is true after all.Going from previous generation Stealth Force 8.0 SZ boots, I noticed the feel to be 'different' because of the Michelin inspired tread. It felt lighter (perhaps less sturdy) compared to previous generation Stealth Force so I'm apprehensive about this boot if you intend to use them for combat/law enforcement when you consider quick and agile lateral cuts in foot ... Originally came from using Magnum Stealth Force 8 for over 9 years, but nothing compares to these Strike Force and I wish I had purchased them earlier. They are unbelievably comfortable. People might say “this boot feels like runners on your feet” but I can definitely agree that statement with these boots!If you in the security field and need a comfortable pair of boots, this Magnum Strike Force 8.0 is definitely a winner and you won’t regret it!
These magnum boots are light and fit tightly around the foot so you can wear normal socks.Overall happy with the purchase.
