This is our families, favourite Dijon mustard. We’ve been buying it for years and makes me always feel like we are in France. I use it as a condiment but also in my cooking and always get such great compliments. Definitely a high end mustard to add to your condiment section in your fridge and to make as a staple in your home.

Maille, the original Dijon is the tastiest. Robust flavor that goes with, and in so very many recipes. I use it in salad dressings(it helps to emulsify the ingredients for a smooth consistency.) I add it to cheese sauces, in cream sauces, in quiche,and just about anything you want for more depth of flavor. Try a big spoonful when you make Mac and cheese, the complements will never stop!

Good tasting and reliable mustard. Buying and using in many recipes for years. Makes a lovely dressing. Olive oil, orange juice and dijon mustard. Great on fennel and orange salad. This mustard has just enough heat to complement beef without overpowering it. So convenient not to have to think ahead and mix in time for flavour to 'develop'. It can be added to cheese sauce at the flour blending stage, and mixed with mayo for jazzing up a sandwich. Always buy this brand.
this is smooth and almost creamy. No sharp edges so you can savor the full wonderful flavor! It is so delicious that one is tempted to use too much so remember it is mild mannered but not shy!! Enjoy!!This is my new favorite.
I am allergic to nightshades and most mustards list the nebulous *spices* in their ingredients lists, and I have learned through sad experience that usually means red pepper of some sort - no bueno for me! Maille mustard is a clean and delicious product. I order the three packs from Walmart because it is the best deal going. We are hitting the road in the RV again soon and I have eight unopened jars of mustard in my pantry. I hope that is enough to get me through the summer LOL. My only complaint is, I cannot seem to find Maille in giant containers to eliminate waste, but at least this is recyclable metal and glass, and truth be told, many of the jars have ended up being used for art and gardening projects for the kid. I recommend this delicious product.
Personally this was one of the worst things i’ve ever tasted. It tasted sour and like rubbing alcohol even though it was brand new. Obviously taste varies but definitely prefer any other brand! Ruined a whole dinner using it but again personal preference!
Maille Dijon mustard is quite simply the most delicious Dijon mustard I’ve ever tasted... in short, it’s fantastic and very high quality indeed!? I’ve found it to be particularly exceptional when used as a key component of making salad dressing and equally moreish when thinly spread on cheese on toast!! See for yourself? If you love Dijon mustard you love Maille - it’s the best of the best!! Enjoy folks!!!
I was offered this item to review which was no hardship... I like Dijon and I particularly like this brand, which has a lovely, classic Dijon flavour. This size jar is very good value for money, but with only two of us in the household it will take me a while to get through. I can find a use for Dijon mustard in lots of things from sauces to egg mayo, but I think a family would find this size more convenient than I will. If you use a lot of Dijon I can highly recommend both the size and the mustard itself.
Really wish I had read the recent reviews before buying the large jar. (Small jar was out of stock) I have been buying this mustard for years in fact it is the only one I ever buy but it has definitely changed.. Now so hot brought tears to my eyes!! What have you done to this product Maille??? A complete waste of money. Will not ever buy again
