This fragrance makes me want to be on the beach somewhere, relaxing in my bathing suit, soaking up the sun. It's considered a "fresh" scent, and has notes of bergamot, ylang ylang, coconut milk accord, and white musk. The key notes are: bergamot, heliotrope, and coconut milk. It's a fresh scent inspired by salty air and rays of sun where bergamot and pink pepper fuse with lemon atop a floral perfume of heliotrope, coconut milk, and musk. Memories of endless summer days, the scent of salty air, and the glow of sun-kissed skin are evoked with each fine mist. Footprints in the sand and the scent of sunscreen wafting through the air bring inspiration to this warm yet refreshing fragrance. Now I can totally see what all the hype is about. This fragrance not only smells incredible, but it definitely evokes warm memories of great times spent on the beach, and summers passed. So this one is looking to replicate a beach walk obviously So here’s the breakdown.. stroll along the ocean. Feet sink into the sand. Waves brush the skin. The sun at its zenith radiates the beach. The lemon helps level out the coconut and make it bright and fun rather than like overpowering it all. It is some of the best perfume you will smell, every fragrance is inspired by certain memories and this one is literally like summer in a bottle. It is crisp, floral, citrusy, and clean all in one and it goes together so perfect without it being overpowering. It is subtle, light and only a few spritz will last all day. I just got this in today and already have had so many compliments about how amazing it smells and a lot of people asking me what perfume I was wearing. This perfume absolutely evokes exactly what it claims to - upon smelling it, you are certainly reminded of swimming in the salty ocean waters while the sun hits your face! HOWEVER, unfortunately, this is not the fragrance for me. While it is definitely clean, crisp and refreshing in scent, it also has a rather strong floral (ylang ylang) undertone that's just too much for my taste. Most of the products I use (laundry detergent, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, lotion…) are fragrance-free, unscented, no fragrance added or very subtle. I don’t wear colognes/perfumes as I have yet to find any that I like. I tried many over the years that I thought I loved at first application but by the dry-down, I generally felt nauseous by the scent. I was once told maybe I am too acidic. Huh? I do however at the moment anyway enjoy the Beach Walk. I received a sample mini bottle from Sephora and decided to try it. I can’t pinpoint exactly why I like it. I prefer to dab small amounts on my med-long hair (the mini bottle doesn’t have a sprayer) and it smells fresh and light. BTW - misconception that alcohol in most fragrances damages hair. Nice for summer

My favourite perfume is Not A Perfume by Juliette Has A Gun. I sampled Beach Walk in store and it seemed like a good alternative particularly for the summer. It has a powdery scent that seems very summery to me. If I am being completely honest, I am not found of Beach Walk for the first hour that I have it on. It comes on quite strong at first. However, after about an hour it seems to mellow out and I am quite happy with it for the rest of the day. This certainly has not replaced Not A Perfume as my favourite scent, and I probably will not buy it again. Instead, I will look for another fragrance that can play back-up to my favourite. It is, however, still a nice scent to try if you are looking to capture that summer vibe.

It's spring and there's no noise but you, the birds, the water and wind, and God. No tourists...no trash, no beer cans, no waste of any kind, no steamy bodies, no foul foods... nothing. Just the smell of a day at our beaches before the tourists come but somehow in a bottle (I received as a free sample).

This smells like the beach to me, like sunscreen and tropical sunlight vibes! It really smells good, although sometimes it can smell a bit too much like sunscreen, BUT it does not last long on my skin. Literally after a 10-15 minutes I can’t smell it on my wrists, my boyfriend can’t smell it. I spray a lot of perfume on my body typically. I apply to my pressure points, clothes, etc, so the fact that if I walk in a room after 10 minutes and my bf can’t smell it on me is just so odd. It’s not worth the price if I have to reapply every few minutes. I think it was around $85USD for the size I got.I recommend buying this as a trial and seeing how your specific chemistry handles this scent before fully committing. Sometimes if I catch a whiff throughout the day, I also smell something that I can only describe as soapy - but milky, expensive, French soap if that makes sense. Overall I find this very soft, comforting and wearable. This is for sure a summer scent, but it's the end of January and I'm still reaching for it... because, if you like it why not?
