The color match between formulae is darn near exact in Endless Cacao. This one is less dry/creamier,longer lasting,and more blendable. Both are excellent,it really depends on how you want them to function. It's definitely worth having them both,but if you're planning on using it for lips exclusively, you might want to go for the new formula.I did notice something that wasn't listed,this pencil does wind up if you twist the small plastic end. However, (Sephora) it does say it's sharpenable so if you desire a point you're in luck. This is another win from MUFE.

I like the colour (I knew I'd like it because I've used the Rimmel dupe) and I was really excited for how waterproof it was going to be. However, because they try to make the product too creamy and blendable, the actual product is as soft as a thick hand cream. There is no way you can sharpen this pencil because the solid part is a really tough plastic, and it just doesn't work for how soft this pencil is. Your heart will break knowing how much you are wasting because each time you try, it will break off. I am returning mine after three attempts, hopefully they take it back or let me exchange for the wooden but non-waterproof one.

I tried wherever walnut and endless cacao in this formula and ultimately ended up returning them. I have and enjoy the original endless cacao but it just doesn’t last for me at all so thought this Would be worth a shot. I like and mostly wear neutral brown shades but I could not get these to look right on me and I tried several times, different techniques and combos. It kept giving the kim possible mustache lip. The colors leaned an odd tone one my lips and did not make me feel confident. The bottom did okay but I couldn’t get them to blend well on the top. Decided I’d rather try something else and went with hourglass exposed and CT foxy brown instead. I am a Sephora Beauty Insider Community Ambassador and this is my authentic review and opinion of this product. I was really impressed by this liner!I finally found a lip liner that stays put and lasts. It holds up for about half my work day, I feel like after lunch it starts to fade slowly. I hope they come out with some pink and berry shades of this line up, because I would buy them all. :)This starts by going on creamy and dries down very fast. It feels a little drying on my lips but it's bearable, especially for the long lasting results. I only use this to line my lips, I don't fill them completely in.
This is such a pretty your lips but better nude. It's a good mix of warm and cool with it pulling more towards the warmer side. It has such a creamy formula to it and glides on evenly and smooth. It was quite easy for me to define my arches while also lining perfectly. I did not notice any scent, so if you're someone who is sensitive, this will work nicely for you. The stay power is there, and if you fill your lips with this, or a matte lipstick, it's transfer proof. In this photo I paired it with a regular lipstick which did eventually fade, but the liner was still in place. It's very pretty, and I think I need to check out the different shade options. One star removed for the price point.
This lip liner in the shade 606 Wherever Walnut is a stunning pinky nude. It applies smoothly and feels buttery on the lips, not waxy or heavy. I have not tried any of the original Make Up For Ever liners so I don’t know how this formula compares to the original formula, however, I would not consider this waterproof or transfer-proof as it did wear off and smear throughout the day. However, the color and the weightless feel of the liner on the lips is enough to make up for its somewhat poor longevity. Overall, I would recommend this liner but not for long-wearing purposes!
I really like my artist color pencil by Make Up Forever! My lip liner is in the color Anywhere Caffeine. The color is beautiful for all skin tones and works well on my light complexion. It’s easy to use and lasts a long time helping accentuate a fuller lip look. I only use the pencil and a gloss to shine my lips. I love how gentle its formulation is being that my skin wasn’t irritated when I applied it until taking it off for the day. It’s such a warm and neutral color that compliments any outfit and event! This is a fantastic makeup need!
I am obsessed with this new waterproof lip pencil formula from Makeup Forever . It is super creamy making it easy to apply and very pigmented! The color I have called “Anywhere Caffeine”goes perfect with any lip combination I can think of ! It’s the perfect light brown nude tone I’ve been looking for . This formula doesn’t budge ! I’ve eaten and drank throughout the day and it’s still on . I believe this product is transfer proof as well ! This is an impressive product for me ! I love it and can’t recommend it enough .
I am a big fan of the makeup forever lip liners so was very excited when I saw they were making a waterproof liner. The formula feels very similar and the application is nice and smooth. As for how long lasting, I’d say it last longer than the standard pencil but I’m not sure I’d call it waterproof. It still comes off when I’m drinking or eating food. I think long lasting would have been a better phrase for this vs waterproof. I’d still suggest it and will buy more shades but would love to see them make a liner that actually stays on while drinking water. It’s important to note I always layer my liner with a gloss so that could be the issue.
I recently got hands on this lip liner. I chose the shade walnut becasue i wear a lot of bown shade lipsticks. The color is beautiful and the pigmentation is good. Best part of teh lip liner is it is waterproof and does not transfer onto my coffee cup. I tried it a couple of times with different listicks and it blends really well and the texture is just perfect. The lip pencil glides very well and it has a smooth finishing. It does not leave the lips cakey and stays all day long. The pen like lip pencil helps in applying and it glides really well like butter on lips.
