My daughter has been fascinated by our diy carpentry projects, and now she’s loving planning her own! Sure, they mostly involve cutting boxes to bits, but seeing how happy having her own (amazingly safe) saw has made her has been a parenting highlight for us!
This is a great tool for cardboard construction. Perfectly sized, comfortable and completely safe for little hands. The saw is sharp enough to cut card but safe enough for children to touch without fear of being hurt. The saw is serrated - one side has big teeth for cutting larger pieces of cardboard and the other for finer cutting. I must admit I was sceptical about it working very well through thick cardboard, but it surpassed my expectations. It has a hole puncher on one end, which you use to make holes for the screws to hold the layers of cardboard together.
