This was a bit to heavy for me to wear during the day, especially since I live in the south and it’s still hot. But this is amazing at bedtime as it maintains hydration throughout night. I wake to well moisturized skin that is more supple and soft. I do have a few Cons. Just like the Essence toner, this has some sensitizing EOs that can be irritating to some. That said, Make P:rem has ensured there is no potential risk since it’s in low levels. While it moisturized my combination skin really well this may not be enough for those who have dry skin in the winter months. And last, it comes in a jar. I would love it even more if it was a tube or pump. I would recommend this to anyone who has dehydrated, dry, combination, or sensitive skin. It did take a bit to absorb into my skin but the cooling felt so good I did not mind. It moisturizes pretty well, more so when used with the P:rem Watery Ampoule (wow! What a power couple!), but I did have to go back and use a heavier moisturizer when I used this alone. This would be a great lightweight moisturizer for summer, especially for those of us who live in places that get hot, on days you’ve been out in the sun or heat. I also love that it is silicone free so I don’t have to worry about it clogging my pores. I would buy this again during the summer months. Tip: I put in the fridge and it’s even better going on. Hydrates your skin like nothing else

After having been disappointed by both more expensive and cheaper moisturisers, I knew this one was my holy grail the second I tried it for the first time 5 years ago - and have stuck to it ever since.It quenches your skin's need for moisture in seconds - and unlike other moisturisers which let you wake up the next day with skin as dry as a sheet, with this one I have the perfect glowy skin every morning. Just praying they won't ever stop producing this one!

I feel like cleansers and toners you can’t go wrong with, but moisturizers are one I have always been semi-particular about. I have combination skin and am in my 30s. Living in TX heat, we get humidity and lots of temperature changes. This PREM moisturizer has just been the absolutely best day and night. It’s definitely my go-to during winter seasons, the only one I will ever use. Creamy and soaks in nicely, making my face feel plump. I’ve tried 5 or 6 different moisturizers, and this one I always come back to. Fragrance free, rich and simple. Highly recommend! (During summer I use this as a night cream if I still have some left over from the winter ^^).

MY BROTHER LOVES THIS!!!

I got this as a gift for my brother since he really liked this stuff! He tried it once by stealing mine when I use to use it and the time he was breaking out. After a week of using it, it cleared his skin! I will totally reorder this in the future again for my brother. Btw his skin type is normal/ combo and has mild acne (typical acne for teens). I think my only complain is that there isn't a lot.

Non-irritating, but hydration doesn't last all day

Hydrating and soothing.. For about half the day. I have used this face cream for a couple years and with my very dry and eczema prone skin, this cream does not stand the test of time. My skin requires a layer of a thicker cream or vaseline to make the moisture last. The main takeaway is that it's non-irritating, and very soothing when I need it most, but I do find that the hydration goes away after a few hours. The reason I've used it for so long is how nice it feels when applying on the skin, and my skin does drink it up. It just needs a little extra layer to seal it in.

Not suitable for acne-prone skin

The non-problematic aspect of this product would work for those without sensitive, acne-prone, or dehydrated skin. However, it seems as though this product is targeted for those three skin-type categories, which is problematic in itself.I had really hoped that make p:rem would work for me this time, and it initially did. My skin was hydrated, but only felt satisfied for 2-3 weeks. Afterwards, I noticed more texture on my skin, and my skin often felt suffocated or sensitised to the touch when applying this cream. My skin progressively felt heavier, and kinda clogged. The three ingredients attributed to this are lower on the ingredients list (Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, and 12 Polyglyceryl-3 Diisostearate), and would indicate that they're less present or overpowering in the product, but for 12 ingredients? That means 1/4 (3/12) of the product is problematic for my skin, and overall in the long run? Not worth the money, or the overall health and condition of my skin.Everyone's skin is different, but it's important to note and be mindful of ingredients that aren't suited for your skin! I'd recommend running through the ingredients list of each product through a checker before you buy them, its easy and prevents you from spending money on things that won't work often for you :)

Reasonably good but not for me

This cream reminds me of the Etude Soon Jung Hydro Barrier Cream in terms of consistency as I think it's actually more of a gel. I have dry skin so prefer something actually creamy in consistency so not a fan of this. This product also leaves a greasy film on my skin after use which when paired with suncream makes me super shiny and greasy which is not a good look. As others have mentioned, it also has a chemically scent to it which does fade and doesn't irritate my skin but it's fairly unpleasant. Loads of product and comes with a scoop and protective lid under the screw top of the actual tub which I appreciate. It does a good job moisturising but everyrhing else I've mentioned means I wouldn't repurchase or recommend
