A genuinely useful drill for floor joist pipework drilling. Powerful enough for most jobs but I was able to stall it on large 1 inch bit and a wiff of smoke appeared but no apparent harm done. ! (it is not brushless for this money). It still works well for what it is intended for though and quality is as expected from Makita. Good value when it includes the battery and charger otherwise it is a costly extra.

I bought to use when you cant get a normal drill in a small or awkward space. I so glad I did its a great to use not to heavy, its meant for driving in smaller screws and quite powerful for its size , if you need to drive in larger screws ie 100 mm you would need to get an 18 v one. Also being cordless its easy to use any where. First Makita products Ive purchased and am quite impressed I will be buying more

Everything was fine if it received without edge damage. There is no packing damage that means the seller shipped damaged item or he didn't inspect it before dispatch.
I bought this for my DIY wood projects. Does the job perfectly and with good finish. I even tested on metal and I was happy with the performance
Good drill replacing my 7yr old version. My only frustration and gripe with these is I wish they came with the normal drill / driver two speed. Other than that very practical piece of kit.
Not used it yet but if its like my other Makita kit im confident it wont dissapoint
