Gives more power to tool. Battery last longer than original battery. Able to finish projects without having to charge battery. Holds charge well.
Replacement charger for Makita works fine and is very reasonably priced versus the Makita name brand charger which it replaces. Work great with new batteries and charges them in a very timely manner. I'm pleasantly surprised for the price.

I use 12 volt for my finishing projects, (low impact and Torque) this battery preforms like my 18 volts ! Plus the 12 volt radio is sweet! Mikita is a product that never lets me down ! I didnt chose this manufacturer ( by default) but I will never switch to any other brand.
I wondered about getting this larger battery or a second smaller battery for my fan. I use the fan to circulate the AC from the front seat to the back seat in my truck, where my dog rides in his crate. We moved 2000 miles in a massive heat wave, and the fan worked well and kept my dog cool and comfy. Well worth the price of the set-up for my dogs health and my peace of mind!
These are long lasting and rugged I have two of these for each of my makita tools and use them daily as a body man and mechanic the charge indicator comes in handy as well
