Makita 18V Brushless Impact Driver Skin DTD153Z

I'm a big Makita fan anyway, and this driver offers everything I know I can expect from this brand:great ergonomics, loads of power, incremented soft start, bright job light. Amazed at how compact it is. It's not quiet, but as impact drivers go, it's relatively quiet. The brushless motor really does extend the life of the battery charge. I don't doubt I'll still be using it daily and in earnest in 10 years time with no change in performance (just like the other Makita tools I've owned for that amount of time).

This is amazing to be use as a trademan also as a diy. Easy to handle , powerful to be use with all types of screws. Love the adding hammer option for those have to do woods . I wouldlike to mention that is a very reliable tool relatingto the price. Definitelyrecommend for professionalsalso for passionate persons that like to do diy around the house.

This is very powerful and works really well. My husband was designing our living room wall with the cart and this machine makes it easy to assemble everything in place. It is good quality product and performs really well. The battery life is quite long and it is durable for sure.

I had previously had a Makita impact driver, I loved it. The tool went with the job, therefore couldn’t wait to replace it. This one is brushless and 170N so a really good deal, but body only as I have about 5 batteries.

Great little brushless impact driver, got a good bit of torque and my batteries seem to last twice as long than my previous impact driver (non-brushless), all for a great price. Well recommended if you're looking for a cheap impact.

Starting to replace my old power tools which all use different batteries.I used some tools in work belonging to various ‘trades’ which were all Makita. I was really impressed with the feel and build quality.The impact driver was fantastic to use with so much power. It made driving screws and fixings a breeze.I loved the ‘one battery’ fits a massive range of tools and with a 3ah battery it felt well balanced. I don’t need the longer runtime of a 5ah battery as it’s just home diy I use it for and like the lighter weight.

I am a solid believer in the quality and durability of Makita LXT battery power tools, this impact driver does not disappoint. Good in the hand, it makes easy work of inserting and removing all screws I have used it on-this ranges from 6mm concrete fixing screws to 200mm landscape woodscrews. The brushless motor is powerful yet compact but not greedy on the batteries. This is a great addition to my versatile LXT toolkit, a good buy for sure.

Not the dream it was supposed to be.

Bought this with gritted teeth to attempt to get an impact driver with slightly less chuck wobble over my beloved 12yr old dewalt impact driver.. Alas I researched until my eyes were sore.. This makita dtd154 seemed to be the ticket.. Got it home to find straight out the box.. The chuck wobbled more than my old one.. I know chucks are meant to have play.. But come on.. Does any brand actually make an impact with a solid chuck that is helpful for precision?? Because neither makita or dewalt do. I've tried milwaukee and they are similar. Tut tut.
