Makita 18V x2 Brushless AWS 305mm Slide Saw + Saw Stand These DLS211Z Makita 18V x2 Brushless AWS 305mm Slide Compound Mitre Saws are specifically designed to suit the needs of carpenters, joiners, shopfitters & builders. They are apart of Makita’s AWS Auto-Start Wireless System, this system allows the tool & compatible vacuum to run automatically while the switch trigger of the mitre saw is engaged. This saw also features dual stage dust extraction, plus a forward rail design which provides an extremely smooth cutting motion. Makita have developed DXT which is Deep & eXact cutting Technology, this technology allows a larger cutting capacity due to the innovative direct drive gearbox. Makita have also equipped this sliding compound mitre saw with Automatic Torque Drive which optimises the RPM & torque automatically to produce the fastest cut in all applications. For user safety the DLS211Z has soft start, soft start function means that as tool starts up it will temporarily reduce the load, torque & electric current surge of the motor so there is little to no kick on start-up, overload protection plus constant speed electronics for even speed under all load conditions.
