Makita UR017G Cordless Line Trimmer 40v Offering excellent power and performance to rival a petrol equivalent, the Makita UR017G line trimmer is powered by Makita 40v MAX XGT lithium ion battery range which offers low noise levels, low vibrations and zero emissions. With a hallowed drive shaft to provide a lightweight design, the UR017G line trimmer is fitted with a loop handle for optimal control and great balance while strimming grass around lawn edges and objects such as trees, benches etc. With soft start and an electric brake, starting and stopping the tool has never been easier, anti-restart is present on this mode which eliminates the risk of the tool restarting accidentally. The Makita UR017G comes with 3 speed settings of 3,500, 5,300 and 6,500 rpm which is easily selected from the in line trigger. Constant speed control and lock off function feature on this cordless line trimmer. The Makita UR017G grass trimmer comes with a plastic blade trimmer head and the machine features a reverse mode to remove any tangled grass from the trimmer head. ADT (automatic torque drive technology) and AFT (automatic feedback sensing technology) are fitted to this cordless grass trimmer, this optimizes the running of the garden strimmer to give you the best performance possible on all grass mowing conditions. *For use with Makita XGT Batteries, this item is not compatible with the LXT range of batteries.
