Just what I was after as a replacement for a cheap mains powered "Rapesco" brad nailer that stopped working without warning. It is leagues ahead in quality and functionality. Only for people with a good compressor set up though. On initial test I found that at 70psi (lowest recommended pressure) I could easily drive flush 25mm long brads into both cross-grain and end grain softwood. Being Makita I am sure it will do everything I require of it.

unfortunately I couldn't use this product as it is not suited for our DIY work and had to return it. But just look of the product, it seems very good and sturdy. We have other products of Makita. They are really good quality and work so well. I expect this product would do the same and also had read so many good reviews about this product.

Firstly I would recommend Data Power Tools for their good customer service regarding free delivery, very competitive pricing and well packaged item.Prior to purchasing the Makita I purchased a Brad nailer which was 240v from another company which was quite heavy and uncomfortable to use, this was my first nailer and was disappointed especially as it marred the wood and firing depth was all over the place, I duly packaged it back up and returned it.I naively didn’t even consider pneumatic even though I had a small Aldi compressor but after checking the specs opted for the Makita and what a good choice. I cannot recommend this product enough it’s absolutely brilliant.Out of it’s own case I added the brads and some drops of oil and tried it out on some scraps and ... MoreFirstly I would recommend Data Power Tools for their good customer service regarding free delivery, very competitive pricing and well packaged item.Prior to purchasing the Makita I purchased a Brad nailer which was 240v from another company which was quite heavy and uncomfortable to use, this was my first nailer and was disappointed especially as it marred the wood and firing depth was all over the place, I duly packaged it back up and returned it.I naively didn’t even consider pneumatic even though I had a small Aldi compressor but after checking the specs opted for the Makita and what a good choice. Not one mark on the wood! so light and comfortable to use and impeccable trigger action. One of the best tools I have bought in a long time. Very happy customer.

I had a porter cable pneumatic gun for quite a few years. It stopped working. After looking around I was sure I wanted a Maliks since I am so satisfied with the other Makita tool I have. This gun is quieter and shoots more accurately than my old gun. It is very smooth and no mis-fires. Feels lighter and less awkward than my old gun too.
We like this gun and would purchase again only one complaint, it doesn't set the nails with the plastic tip on . The first gun we ordered we returned because it didn't set with or without the tip so if your not OK using without the tip maybe you should get a different gun .
Item is great and works brilliantly. just what i was needed at fraction of cost of other retailers. would always recommend Makita equipment.
Brilliant nailer as you'd expect from Makita. No air leakage and the adjustment is easy and hassle free. Sinks the brads perfectly every time in soft or hard woods and never causes a split even close to end grain.Massive upgrade from a Silverline cheapo one I had before.
Makita always offer a quality product & with this Brad nailer they don’t disappoint. Highly recommended.
The gun so far has worked well without jams. It is rated for 2" long nails but in all honesty, I'm having difficulty recessing the heads of the 2" nails sufficiently, even with the depth setting turned all the way up and the compressor regulator set to 120 lbs in soft wood. I'm reluctant to go any higher pressure. Dropping down to 1-1/2" nails, they recess just fine at 90 lbs.
I really can't fault this brad nailer, it's light weight but feels really well made & robust. It hasn't jammed or failed once & so far there's nothing that it hasn't been able to penetrate. It uses up to 50mm 18 gauge brads & works fine with my little diy compressor. Can't recommend this enough
