Makita Angle Grinder GA4030 100mm 4" 720W

Nice! this Shop is one of my favourites, I can buy elsewhere but when it comes to attention and guranteed quality, they deserved to be praised. Extremely fast service, received in less than a week from Peninsular to Sabah. The GA4030 is just exactly iI have been looking for - small barrel grip but powerful just as what they have recommended, fits well my small hands. The free cutting discs, there were 3 pcs that seemingly to have shaterred during and was immediately arrange for replacement

Makita GA4030 4 inch Angle Grinder is Excellent

My old Makita 4 inch angle grinder finally gave in after many years of use and much superb work from it. Grinding welds, cutting various steel elements and various odd jobs that an angle grinder does so well on. It probably had a bit more time left on it but I dropped it from about 4 feet and it hit squarely on the disk transferring all the shock to the bearing. It would still work, but was loose and noisy. I decided to retire it. There are some substantial improvements to this new model over the one I had. Much easier to change disks. Quieter in operation. Improved grip and grip angle. Another gem of a tool from Makita. As usual the shipping by Amazon was prompt.

Recycle items

I purchased the Makita 4-inch Grinder again for it is light and I use it as a cut off tool. I recycle and this little tool has to start and stop as I score everything to determen if it is brass, copper, Alum or steel. I do not ware out the motor but do ware out the swich. This new model is nice with only one tool to chacge the disk and also quite. I also have a 4/1//.2 Makita that I use to polish steel. Go to your hard ware store and notice all the different disk that will fit up to this tool. Want to take paint off of steel there is a disk that will do it. Cut bolts that are to long. Rusted bolts that to can't take off, this tool will do it for you.

Very durable and rugged tool

We go through grinders like crazy in our shop. The brushes in the motors seem to not like the dust we produce. We've tried some very expensive grinders to see if we could get better longevity out of them. These Makita grinders work great and have taken all of the abuse we can throw at them. The motors have lasted far longer than any other brand and show no signs of wearing out. The price is very reasonable, too.
