The Makita CC301D is a cordless tile or glass cutter. The 85mm diameter diamond blade gives you a 25.5mm maximum depth of cut, more than enough for smooth and powerful cutting or trimming ceramic or porcelain tiles. The machine has a 500ml water tank with a tap to control the flow of water used to cool the blade. Water cooling means the machine produces zero dust. Nickel plating protects the steel base against corrosion. The base tilts up to 45° for bevel cuts. The CC301D is a compact and lightweight design offering easy handling. A rubberised soft grip with non-slip elastomer grip gives you greater control and comfort. This is a body only tool supplied without batteries or charger. It uses a Makita 10.8V CXT (Compact Extreme Technology) slide Li-ion battery. Similar to the extremely successful 18V Li-Ion battery used in the heavier tool range, the CXT 10.8V has multi-contact terminals to ensure stable contact even under extreme work vibration conditions. The slide battery fits easily into the tools and new chargers and has the same high level of structural strength as well as having built-in protection to prevent overload or over discharging.
