Makita 18v charger. This was an excellent buy, and for £25 including p&p no one else on the internet could come even close to that price. I've used FASTFIX before and i will be using them again. Just the job guys keep up the good work.

I purchased a Makita battery operated brush strimmer - a best buy from Which? I did not read the review carefully enough and only realised after purchasing this item (the single battery charger) that actually the strimmer needed TWO batteries and therefore I should have purchased a dual charging unit (which I subsequently did). This charger is a well made solid item and charges the battery quickly. Just make sure you don't make my mistake if your Makita garden item requires TWO re-chargeable batteries.

It does exactly what it says ... it charges very quickly. My 5ah battery took just 45 minutes to completely charge. I also found a little trick it does, you can change the charged up tune at the end, so you can personalize it.

I already had five chargers, but I have at least twenty batteries, so when this attractive offer came along I purchased another three. These days I seldom resort to mains powered tools and some of my Makita tools use two batteries, so multiple chargers are a must.
I already have an older version. But wanted the ability to charge 2 batteries at the same, without buying the ‘double’ version. Again this was a first time buy from Powertools, the price and delivery was excellent and well packaged. Just have a different charge tone on each charger.

Usual Makita build with everything you would expect. Works well, charges quick, easy to use . It's relatively compact charger for an 18v battery. Everything seems great with it so far. Only thing i could say against it is the noise. Compared to my other Makita chargers the hum from it seems quite loud. That said. it doesn't really matter as it isn't charging in the house. Overall, yeh more than happy with it.
Been using this quick charger for well over 7 years, it’s on daily and charges all makita LXT batteries mine are 3-5amp hours,Mine did finally give up after years of constant daily dusty use, it had no hesitation in purchasing this again,The charger is quicker than the standard charger but over-all battery performance has not been lost over that period,Comes with the different charging complete Tunes as appose to the beep which is useful when the job site is full of sounds,Price was less than I thought when purchasing this replacement,
Bought drill, single battery and a charger as only need for occasional use. Price very well. Arrived as expected and was very well packaged. Would recommend the company 100%
