Makes the job easier and quicker hence pays for itself in no time. Quite a sturdy build but extending arms are a bit on the flimsy side when fully extended especially with larger timbers. When cutting scant etc does the job with ease.

Utter pish for cutting anything longer that 3m long, the roller and the bar are held in place by a screw which is either soldered or really badly tacked on mine broke when I put my first 4.8m length of 89x38 (4x2 CLS) on the saw as the tacks or solder popped off making the stands useless. I'm just going to buy the DeWalt stand as it's better in every way, apart from its dewalt

Great saw leg stand at a bargain price. The only downside is the saw does not slide as smoothly as it does on a proper bench. My saw is the 305mm LS1216L which is very heavy. Lighter saws work much better. Usual Makita quality. Well pleased.
Brilliant service competitive on price and in stock really good when you need things for work. And arrived a day later but I think it was to do with the courier. Never mind I shall definitely use them again. Nige.
This is a good stand. My only gripe is the actual attachment that you bolt to your saw. There are 2 quick release leavers underneath that you press to lift your saw off. But they are made of plastic and one has already snapped when I caught it lifting it out my van. In my opinion they should be metal. But as that fitting is a new model there are no spares for it yet so I can fix it unless I buy a new set. The actual stand itself is very robust and if they made separate folding benches the same way I'd buy them.
Top quality service at great price. I’d waited weeks on my local tool store getting one in direct from makita. After 7 weeks I gave up. This came 2 days after I ordered it. Won’t be the last time I use this company.
I bought this to go with my DLS714 36v cordless mitre saw. Portability and ease of use makes it a no brainer. I've even had it up on scaffolding doing a cut roof. Brilliant
I've owned this stand for less than 6 months with minimal use and already the grips have snapped. The legs are flimsy and overall a poor quality item for Makita
