No issues with this product, easy to assemble, compact. I have only used it once, good performance. Battery life 20 minutes, but this was with very long grass. I recommend twin charger and additional batteries if you have a large or medium lawn. I like it !

Best mower I have owned. Light weight, easy start / stop, no petrol or fumes, reused my existing batteries. Did a good job cutting the grass. Batteries lasted front and back yard. Easy to clean.

I’ve only used it a couple of times, but couldn’t be happier. For the size of the mower it’s quite light while still seeming robust. Quieter than other mowers I’ve had and very easy to adjust the cutting height. I’ve 5.0Ahr batteries and managed to cut all my lawns on about half a charge so the claimed area is probably a little on the conservative side, I would recommend this to anyone with larger than average gardens.
I only had 3 amp batteries so hoped they would work. My grass had grown quite a bit but t was disappointed when it stopped about a quarter of my small garden. However I was using it on the shortest cut. After recharging the batteries I changed the height from cut 1 (the lowest) to cut two. I then finished the whole garden. I am very pleased with the mower. However it will soon empty the batteries if it has to work very hard.
I wasn't expecting this to be as good as i discovered it was. First off i had old batteries a 3 and 4 amp that were charged and used them. Its so easy to insert them and take them out after use. Due to having always petrol mowers in the past this was cool as with petrol its fill up prime and pull some times till your arms hert like hell to start (gather a lot of us have done that ) Well no more slip in the batteries and press in safety button and squeeze handle and away you go. Due to my petrol mowers engine dieing my front lawn was well over grown but this makita mower managed to do the job great. Ok maybe not as quick as my old petrol mower, but must say did look alot better with the makita.. Great to be set free of wires without the weight, noise and smell of petrol.150m garden easily covered emptying the hopper just once during the cut. I’m not a green keeper or garden pro, but the cut looks great to me with lots of room for adjustment. The 5ah batteries lose just one notch on the indicator for this. Highly recommended.
Order arrived next day despite being Saturday and I did not pay for a Saturday delivery.As for the Makita Lawn Mower it is absolutely a joy to use and cuts amazingly even at 20mm setting. Batteries do not run out when I use it for about 140m2 of area.It was easy to assemble the handle.I would recommencement.
Deliberated over this for a long time given some comments on battery life. Used twice now and no problems, have 2 lawns covering c.200m2 and the mower has cut them even when damp. Needed a lightweight mower as the garden is split level and again very happy with weight and manoeuvrability. Cuts well, decent grass box size, quiet v petrol. Very happy so far. I use 2x 5amp batteries. You just need to choose the right size of mower and batteries and the mower will do the job!
Im always impressed with Makitas design and build quality and this lawnmower will not disappoint. I was worried that my overgrown lawn would be to much for a battery driven mower but it made short work of it, excuse the pun. I got about 45 mins cutting time which was enough for the medium sized lawn first cut set at its highest depth. I was very impressed with how light weight and manoeuvrable it was. Overall Im impressed and pleased with it, no more pulling a starter cord on an obstinate mover.
