Makita DMP180ZX 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Inflator, Tool Only

I already have lots of Makita tools so have batteries and charger.This lightweight and compact compressor / pump works brilliantly for my vehicles and bikes a- and is easy to use. Thoroughly recommended .

Excellent low volume air compressor

My company uses a lot of Makita 18V cordless tools and they serve us well. This inflator works well for what we bought it for; adjusting air bags on trucks and pressurizing gas lines for leak tests. It does not have high volume and therefore takes time to fill vehicle tires. I plan to buy a second one soon.

Great Little Compressor

Took me a while to find this new Makita compressor but I am very glad I took the time to find one. I bought it to fill towable’s on my boat however haven’t had a chance to try it out yet. I did use it to fill the tires on 3 cars and it worked extremely well. It also senses pressure and turns off at your set pressure which was a pleasant surprise!I also highly recommend Tools-Plus! My order arrived quickly even during these virus times.

Holy grail of tire inflators

Finally a tool that eliminates the guesswork out of inflating tires. No separate gauges and built in inflator dials that don’t show accurate readings. No extension cords either. Just dial in the desired pressure, attach hose to valve stem. Pressure is read. Then you pull trigger and it stops when desired pressure is obtained. Only thing this would be missing is a memory setting that car store the psi front and rear of all your cars and spare tire. Otherwise a 5 star product. A huge time saver!

It's great!

I love Makita due to our travels motorhomes and campervans. The versatility of their 18v battery systems is amazing. We use their vaccum, drills, coffee maker, flashlights, fan, etc. We needed a pump that is fast and easy to use. I was really surprised to see after getting this pump that it was able to fill all four of our 85lb pressure tires on our campervan with one 18v battery and the battery was still 3/4 charged after filling them all!Now we do not have to use those awful air pumps that steal your money or card numbers!

Looking for long time

Great product, pressure can be setup, it stop when reach the serup pressure. Tips included to inflate ballons, balls, and slim bike tube. Light is always on when is powered thats is pretty cool for night conditions. Trigger may be a litter hard press for big tires.

Makita Cordless Inflator

I've used for adding air to my car tires. My hand gauge and the gauge on the inflator are different by a couple of pounds. I just set the inflator for a couple extra pounds and then adjusted using my hand-held gauge. Inflator stops adding air when it reaches the set pressure, but the inflator keeps running which is misleading.I think this will be fine for car tires, wheelbarrow tires, bikes and the like.

My new favorite tool!

Works great! I use it several time a week. It works great for inflating lawn mower, ATV, & bike tires. I also used to inflate my daughter's SUV tire that was low. This took a little while but it worked well as I did not have access to an air compressor. It is my new favorite tool!

Reliable and accurate

Used it twice a week all winter on leaky truck tire. Even at zero it did fine. Same battery all winter. Just got new tires but will keep it on the trunk. Great for adjusting all 4 tires to same pressure when weather changes. Set it at 33 and go around. Perfect every time.

Working Well And Fast Delivery

This is a great tool to have. It inflates tires relatively fas. It’s not a full size compressor, but does well for portable tire inflator. When there is no wires to unroll, there is time saves.Gotta pump for a while and don’t want to hold it - no problem - set the desired psi, press the trigger, and stick the handle of a screwdriver under it. “ Whala” it will stop at proper ps
