Pros:- It does the job of blowing very well- Its easy to use.Cons:- Quite noisy.- Quite heavy with 2 5A batteries.- Chews batteries, 20 - 30 minutes runtime. These issues are noticable but tolerable

This is a very good cordless blower I use it to blow cut grass off the paths and decking, it has two settings high and low I have a mains blower which has variable speed and I only ever use it on full power so I think two speeds is enough. The price for the body only is quite reasonable but you have to add on the cost of two batteries and charger but then you have a great piece of kit and you can always use the batteries on other Makita tools

Nice and lightweight as l am74 even used it to blow behind radiators. I am a bit house proud. The long snout saves anybending down
Most blowers are heavy, cumbersome and ungainly. The new trend is to make them lighter and the Makita does a good job. The weight and balance are great and the power is more than adequate for the job.
This beast blows. I mean it REALLY blows.Dry leaves, easy.Piles of damp leaves, no problem.Wet leaves stuck to the ground, they're outta here.Twigs, gravel, bits of dirt stuck to the path, all moved right along.Big mounds of wet leaves that have been trampled in to mush... well, that might be pushing it too far.Probably best to keep small children and animals well away just in case they get knocked off their feet. There is also a "low" setting for anybody not needing quite as much oomph.
Already had the 18v blower with speed control and very pleased with it . This one only has 2 speeds, you turn it on and then when you press the button expecting a bit more blow it drops to a very low blow that is far too low to have much impact. The 18v model seems to run on a battery for ages, even on full blow this 36v one eats batteries too quickly This one feels good to handle but would be better with more speeds
This is pretty good, could do with more varying controls as its only high or low power and low isnt worth using if your blowing leaves. Other than that it is sturdy and with 2 x batteries it goes for a good amount of time
I bought this hoping that it would blow leaves and debris off my artificial lawn and patios' and it does not disappoint! After reading several reviews (and taking 6 months to decide if it was worth the risk) I bought (and received the next day) this Makita blower. My concerns were quickly dismissed as it has the power (on the highest setting) to move all leaves, twigs and feathers from my artificial lawn; with ease! Conditions were dry but leaves were slightly damp. On the lowest setting, it carefully blows up your leaves into little piles, ready for disposal. I also discovered that it removed all leaves/debris from my wife's flower beds, which usually is a labour intensive (back breaking!) task. The battery time (20 minutes on two 4amp batteries) may be too short ... MoreI bought this hoping that it would blow leaves and debris off my artificial lawn and patios' and it does not disappoint! If you've got existing 18v Makita LXT kit then this is a worthwhile addition to your power tool collection. Surprisingly good!
I have an electric and a petrol blower and this Literally blows their socks off & is so convenient light and versatile. Just Pick up & blow! Suggest 5ah batteries for longest run. I now have the 36v chainsaw, hedge trimmer, pole trimmer. They are all amazing! Such a big jump forward in battery technology. My 18v makitta drill and batteries are more than 12years old and still working perfectly. These lithium batteries just go on forever. Highly recommend!!!
