Had I known I'd rather have chosen the one with the on off switch, rather than the paddle switch which needs constant pressure to maintain power, but thats probably a personal thing. My only gripe is that if the battery does not need recharging, I will leave it on all my power tools (saves wear and tear on the terminals), however with this tool, the box is just too short so you have to remove it to get it in. With an additional battery the box becomes rather overcrowded.

My first 40v tool from makita. Im very happy with it. It have a lot of power. The charger also charge 18v batteries. Very good quality. It also have knock back feature which is fantastic

Great grinder and would recommend, again a little overpriced I feel but great bit of kit and does all jobs I have asked of it with ease
