Upgraded my old evolution saw after many years use. This thing is in a different class, quieter, more accurate and lighter to carry around. The trigger and guard mechanism are much better too, plus a work light and accurate laser. Can't rate durability and reliability as I've only just got it, but has a 3 year warranty for trade use

This saw has done me well. It’s accurate, reliable and has some nice features. I would say you need to keep an eye on the calibration, but should do this with any saw. Have had it a year now with regular use and it’s not let me down. Good all rounder I’d say.

This is a superb piece of kit and has paid for itself over and over again on garden decking and carpentry jobs. Well worth buying Makita as it is a quality build and very solid and makes mitred corners so easy.
