Best drywall gun I have used. It works great at the joints, which are the most difficult. Makita is much better than Dewalt at the seems. The extra speed is also very useful.

Lot better than the dewalt cordless screw gun. The cone is easy off easy on easy to adjust better in corners feels better in hand the clip is more open to fit on side tools better can back out screws without taking cone off. The push drive is ok but dangerous if you hang the gun on your side tools and someone bumps the screw or if it slips and hits your leg your screwed literally. But over all best on the market. And the makita batteries and gun is more balanced than the dewalt.My crew of 5 dose little over 200 boards a day and it keeps up the cordless router is nice better on off switch than the dewalt but needs a clip on it
I purchased this item about a month ago and have been very happy with its ability to hold up to sheet after sheet of drywall. I would recommend using course thread screws with this rather than fine thread screws when working with drywall for this has a big difference in its great performance. Thank you Makita for another great product.
I just finished hanging 500 sheets of drywall with this gun and couldn't be happier. Working along side someone using a corded screwgun I realized how nice this is. I've had it for about 2 years and it has been great. I'm a carpenter not a board hanger so I haven't been using it for weeks on end until recently and it has held up without a problem. I would buy again
Good item with great features. Used it to hang some ceilings & walls. Does the job without chasing cords. Runs all day on a 4ah battery. Get a side mount belt hook though. The molded in top mount hook is useless unless you have a holster.
Item was described as new with open box. When I open it I immediately could tell it was anything but new. Looks like it had been used quite a few times. The battery element was bent and almost broken.
Another quality Makita tool. This driver sinks the screws to a very consistent depth, It disengages very smoothly. I have compared it to a more expensive Ryobi and this is Makita is exponentially better.
Ho my when I use this makita drywall drill driver it was awesome not too heavy and well balanced; and you save a lot of battery energy ONE 5 AMPS BATERY LAST THE COMPLETE DAY AND SOME MORE HOURS, it's really powerful tool I'm a general contractor so we use this tools so often and it works great.
