A perfect combination of chocolate, softness and crunchy malt filling. A true mouthgasm 😍 the white chocolate ones are also divine. Usually on offer especially over the Christmas period. Highly recy, devilishly moreish!

OK, so I'm a huge fan of Maltesers so the idea of a white truffle version made me happy....and I cannot fault the chocolates themselves, delicious, creamy but Malteser crunchy. However, the packaging...shocking. A carton which is at best 2/3 full and each chocolate is wrapped in a paper/foil wrap and then an oversized plastic wrapper. Aesthetically beautiful, but horrible for the environment as none of the wrappings can be recycled where I live.

I think I get the idea, fancying up Maltesers to make 'em look posher/a more acceptable looking gift. However individual wraps & coating in soft stuff spoils them for me. I like Maltesers as is with just enough choc coating & crunchy inside. Prefer Maltesers made/sold an optional 'gift band' say elasticated stuff with a big fancy bow to slide over Malteser packs & boxes for giving on special occasions. that'd leave the recipient to pop 1, 2 or 3 in the mouth at a time same as usual.
I love anything in the malteaser range. For Xmas they are treat! The box is nice., good for sharing and able to gift. I like the packaging. Yes its far too much. But every time I eat one it feels like a treat and unwrapping the chocolate is a joy. And the shape of the chocolate is nice. I would recommend. A soft rich truffle with the added crunch of malteaser all in a thick outer shell of chocolate. Whats not to like?
Maltesers truffles chocolate gift box 200gI like normal maltesers a lot, but I found these maltesers truffles to be rather sweet in flavor and not very nice, they were ok but not great.I would say to anybody that like normal maltesers to give it a try but it's horses for courses, they're ok for a gift but not for everyday consumption like normal maltesers.Another thing, I was annoyed about the amount of packaging that was around each sweet there was just too much of it.This item was purchased as a promotion, I was happy that I had a chance to try this for only 50p
I've not tried these white chocolate malteser truffles before but stopped them in the shop and thought I'd give them a go. definitely morish! didn't take long to get through the box. love the addition of the truffle as sometimes maltesers can be a bit dry but these are the perfect balance.

However, it's not what I'd call a truffle, because it isn't made with chocolate ganache or dusted with cocoa powder or nuts. Still, they are very tasty! As with all gift boxes, you do get a lot of packaging - these chocolates come in a large box with a lot of space in it, and the chocolates are double-wrapped. It does make a nice gift, and I personally did like the double wrapping because it meant it took longer to eat the chocolates due to the time taken to unwrap them two-handed, rather than just shoveling them in my mouth like a greedy monster! I love maltesers so I wasn't surprised about the tastiness of these individual truffles. Creamy solid chocolate truffle with little bursts of honeycomb. I would love the honeycomb to be a little larger! This said, they are still nice to eat. Individually wrapped so would be nice to put out for when we can have visitors again. Bonus was purchased as part of an offer. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase for a gift for someone else.
Not maltesery at all! Barely any crunch. I love a good truffle. Note good. These are not good truffles! Kind of indistinct foamy texture. The chocolate outer shell seperates and the whole thing tastes kinda cheap. Which at ?5 they are not! 2 stars for the pretty box And packaging Im a huge malteser fan but these let the team down. Pass!
