it’s a bit difficult to get into the shoes. However during the walk they are comfortable.

I've been a Mammut wearer for over a decade now. My old pair of walking trainers finally gave up the ghost, so I bought these Ultimate III Mid GTX boots as a replacement. All I wanted to use them for was walking the dog, and low level hikes (nothing too serious). The weight was appealing, as I prefer to avoid a heavy boot unless I need it but, unfortunately, they are less lightweight and more flimsy.They offer little to no ankle support and, even though I'm often only walking through fields, the souls provide little comfort.I gave them a good go (wearing them daily for a few weeks) but ultimately gave up and bought shoes from a different company.
