Mancera Aoud Vanille Eau De Parfum Spray 120ml

Look, it's abrasive at first. It's not a scent for the summer time or one you'd spray right before sitting across from your boss in a business meeting. It comes across as quite masculine, and the oud is overpowering from the outset, similar to a masculine santal-type fragrance. The beauty of this scent is in the way it dries down, and, (for me at least), transforms into a creamy, sensual gourmand, which I have not experienced in many woody-sandal-oud types. Beyond that, Mancera is KNOWN for their lasting power. This scent is ETERNAL. The sillage is also better than other perfumes I've tried from similar perfume houses (think Who is Elijah, Montale-esque) and leaves a gorgeous trail. All I can say is wow! This is definitely a cool weather scent, but is now one of the highest on my list! For me the opening is a smokey woody almost leathery mix with a creamy warm vanilla coming through. As it drys down the leather accord fades and it left with a woody oud and more vanilla. The longevity on this is among the best in my fragrance collection! Highly recommend this to anyone, may lean more masculine to some but I think it's perfectly unisex.

Edible Oud? Yes, I said it. This is a very delicious Oud, as it’s delivered with waves of vanilla and spices in between. Cardamom, pepper and saffron keep the 2 primary notes balanced and it is quite addictive. This is not necessarily a crowd pleaser, but gets much attention when worn during cooler seasons or evenings out. Insane longevity and projects even through clothes. Mancera is under the house of Montale Paris, so high concentrations is kind of their thing. If you love Oud or vanilla, you will enjoy Aoud Vanille.

I love this fragrance because the vanilla and oud play really well together. This one has been compared to Baccarat Rouge 540 Perfume but a bit more masculine. The opening you get a spicy bubbly vanilla then it settles down in to a warm vanilla. At the dry down you get a warm spicy vanilla with hints of oud. This one has become my go to when I am trying to impress. Also my wife loves it on me. This is a unisex fragrance and if you love vanilla fragrance then you will love this one.

Addictive and delicious

This fragrance has really grown on me! Upon first spray, you get a medicinal, very strong almost offensive or synthetic(?) Oud. It’s very spicy and if you spray too close to your skin that can be a little bit overwhelming. I think that might be the saffron.However if you spray just the right distance away from the skin you get this amazing unctuous, intoxicating creamy delicious vanilla and Oud combo. Yes the vanilla smells very gourmand (like delicious sweet vanilla frosting), and it feels synthetic to me. But I just can’t get enough of it on my skin. The Oud never goes either, it’s always in the background, and I like it better on the dry down as there’s less medicinal tone. Also, I need more Mancera frags in my collection!I also love layering this one with Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme... my partner said I smelt amazing when I layered it the other day. The two just work nicely together.

Ordered the Mancera samples from Saks Fifth Avenue which included this fragrance. Received the full bottle from FragranceX just now and was blown away by the similarity between the sample and the bottle. This is the real deal and 100% authentic!This will be my signature scent for Fall, Winter and early Spring. The scent is beautiful and lasts for a very long time. Will purchase Mancera again from FragranceX because of the authenticity and competitive pricing! Highly recommended unisex fragrance!
