The dev powder are pre measured and all you have to do it pour dev in to the bleach container and mix. The tool kit was also a pleasant surprise. Kit contained great quality black gloves (I didnt use because they were big for my tiny hands), color/"shower" cap, comb/color brush combo and a color bowl that appears to interlock should you have multi colors to pour. The brush was wide and bristles soft, synthetic and easy fully wash out color with out staining. Comb and pick end great for parting hair. Comb and cap great of you have long or think hair, they both were big enough to handle my long curly hair (blown out in pictures). Manic Panic, you have never failed me and its my #1 recommendation for color!

I remember taking this survey and selecting all the colors for a fun surprise! Although I just got my hair done and I'm unable to post a picture right now, I absolutely plan to use this in the near future and cannot wait to update you guys! I received this product for free from Influenster and Manic Panic in exchange for my honest review. I wasn’t entirely sure what I was going to do with my hair with this when I got it in. I had a very grown out half blonde and half brown split dye that I went over with a purplish box dye that had faded and grown out at well. The blonde side of my hair was pretty damaged from the bleaching and I honestly was nervous to do an at home bleach situation. What amazed me the most about this product is first how well it worked. My hair lifted surprisingly well for what I had going on with it beforehand. I did get a little nervous and rinsed it out earlier than I was anticipating to but there was no reason for me to do this. My hair still had its integrity intact and I’ve had no hair loss or breakage from using it. I honestly probably could have left it on longer and had even better results. The Amplified Hair Color in Purple Haze is a gorgeous color! I love it so much. The color deposited very well. I do wish it didn’t bleed so much, but that is the nature of these types of dye. I know that so it isn’t really a factor. I’m not entirely sure how long it will last but it seems like it may last a good while so far. The instructions were clear and application was easy with this product. The hair tools kit that was sent was a super helpful addition to the application. And I was glad to have gotten it with this. I was thinking I would love this color but I definitely was stunt at the results. I have colored hair and I usually don't have trouble changing the dye but after bleaching my natural routes I took the color off the front where I tend to have the lighter color and looked so good until I washed of the color! It was in green and blue patches. I am guessing the Virgin bleach hair did absorb the color but the one that was corrected didn't get it as well. I will be purchasing a different color correcting kit to even it out and re try the color. I would recommend to non colored hair at this moment. I received Purple Haze Amplified. It’s supposed to be the same shade as the original in the jar but longer lasting. I find that the Amplified is actually brighter than I remember the original Purple Haze. I put it over my already colored mushroom blonde hair and I got a bright vibrant purple. I had some darker blonde roots and it colored them as well but it isn’t as vibrant which is to be expected. I’ve washed it numerous times and it’s still quite bright just a bit of fading on the root areas. First picture is shortly after coloring. Second picture is after a few washes. Purple Haze can be used on bleached, blonde even lighter brown hair with beautiful results. It is messy but every semi permanent bright dye I’ve used is messy so that’s not a problem. I think whatever chemical issue happened to the product caused it to lose its ability to thoroughly penetrate the hair shaft. Rinsing the product was a very pleasant experience. There was no staining or color fallout at all, even when shampooing. I was surprised. My hair also felt very silky smooth. I was very happy about that. All in all, I still love Manic Panic, but I am sad I received a defective bottle of Heather. It probably happened due to the extreme cold snap we had where I live though, so I can't blame the company. Thank you Influenster and Manic Panic for allowing me to try Heather.

Beautiful, intense colour that is incredibly long lasting!

This is the first time I've dyed my hair a bright colour in a very, very long time, so I we with a brand I had good experience with the past. Seeing that Amplified is supposed to last longer, I wanted to give it a go and ordered some online.Prior to this, my hair was box dyed black and I managed to get it light enough for the dye, though it definitely hurt my scalp a bit and I was worried about the dye further irritating it. To my surprise though, my hair looked insanely healthy afterwards and even the hairdresser was impressed with how healthy it looked after the dye, so they're definitely not joking when they say it nourishes :)The only downside to this, would be the packaging. Even if one bottle is enough, if you want to dye it the same colour again, it's always handy to have a second one ready to go (especially since some other colours run out of stock on here very, very quickly)I absolutely love this hair dye and I'm planning to dye it the same again once it starts to fade out, or even go a light blue but if you have any concerns, I'd say it's worth giving it a go. My scalp is incredibly sensitive, but this dye didn't bother it in the slightest and is honestly my favourite brand now :)(though I do worry what I'm gonna do if beserk stops stocking my favourite colours XD)

I bought both the Amplified version & not because I didn’t know what the difference was. I wish the website would be more clear about that when there are multiple applications for the same color. The only difference in ingredients was castor oil in one & not the other. I ended up using the other one. When I saw the 2 painted on paper next to each other they were definitely not the shade pictured online - far lighter. The 2 applications looked fairly similar but not quite identical in color. I was planning on using more of this with LieLock highlights but went the opposite because this was so light. Would I buy this again? Maybe - if I were looking for a color lighter than the picture.
