Definitely a cooling and relaxing experience, it really cools the forehead and sinuses, I think it gives me a deeper sleep in general. I like the little bags it has to store it away, and the headband doesn’t slip off your head! Pretty great buy, a bit expensive to those who just need a sock over their eyes who sleep during the day, but much worth if you have money. Good shi

BUYER BEWARE: Manta's 60 day hassle free guarantee is a lie. They do not actually warranty their product. They claim that if you buy the product on sale that it is not warrantied. Why? Is it not the same exact product? Yes, it is. So why isn't it warrantied like a non- sale purchase? The warranty is on a product, not a sale. Shouldn't the product perform the same as advertised whether it is full price or discount? It should. Manta doesn't think so. They say their transparent policy says that they can send you any piece of malfunctioning junk that they want to and you're stuck with it because you bought it for $2 less than regular price. Decent sleep mask but cooling effect doesn't last

The sleep mask works fine on its own. I DO love the built-in, hidden velcro feature so I don't have to worry about the material getting loose. The cooling pads feel nice on my eyes, but sadly the effect only lasts about a half hour at best. I'm not sure what the contents of the pads are, but maybe that's to be expected?All in all, they're nice to put on and start to relax, maybe with a little ASMR. But woe betide anyone who has these pads still on their face while sleeping on their side (like me). The pads will push into your eyes and it won't be pleasant anymore.In the end, I tend to use the mask on its own more than with the cooling pads. Perhaps someday down the line, a longer lasting version will come out? That might be worth trying.

Disappointed

I love my other manta sleep mask. I have one for home and one for travel. I’ve bought them for friends. This one was very disappointing. I thought it was misleading. The eye cooling packs don’t attach and it’s cumbersome and ineffective. I should have returned it. Love the other side sleeping products and I will continue to tell friends about that version.

Feels good, wish the cooling lasted longer

Helps me keep cool and stop scratching my eyes at night

I tend to run a little hot while sleeping, sweating through the night and making me toss and turn. I also scratch my itchy eyes a lot as well, so I use Vaseline on my eyes to keep from irritating the area.But when I pop on the cool mask, it really does a great job of keeping my eyes and head cool, to the point where I'm not sweating, my eyes don't feel itchy, and I get right to sleep. No need for the Vaseline.I store the cooling cups in the freezer in the day. As far as how long the eye cups stay cool, they remain cold for about 30 minutes or so when you're wearing them, as your head seems to warm them up quickly. But it does a great job of cooling me down quickly, so it almost doesn't matter to me. Itchy eyelids and eyes

I bought the manta cool eye mask after trying other types of relief for severe itching to my eyelids and eyeballs failed to ease my suffering and constant need to scratch. This cool mask and it's comforting weighted pads works.I'm happy.For my husband and his headaches from a brain injury, I have him wear the cool mask while laying on his recliner and it has given relief to him too.This was a good decision to purchase.It certainly does give a cold/cool relief to eyes that itch, are tired and headaches.Other positives....,blue cold pads are soft and gently weighted and hold the cold from the freezer for over 10 minutes (recommend time).They can be placed per eye position of each user if sharing the mask between husband and wife (ext.).The strap mask is soft comfortable and adjusting strap to fit more snug if desired.Can lay or rest on your back or on your side as long as fitted snugly cuz the weighted pads may slide some. A snug adjustment fits it better for side laying.Can also cool blue eye pads in the refrigerator if user doesn't want the real cold. If user still desires more time, to set back in the freezer it chills again within an hour.Now for skin allergy sufferers, Manta...a cool head wrap or hat made like the weighted pads, seems like it would help relieve itchy scalps and headaches and might be worth your engineering team to look into designing for our future purchase.Thank you.

Really helps with nap time!

First, the few things I don't like (although not enough to make it less than 5 stars):1) When put in my freezer, the cups are almost TOO cold for the first few minutes and it's actually unpleasant. FIX: I leave them out for a few minutes before I use them. I just mention it here so you know that they're really high quality and capable of getting REALLY cold so test them on your cheek before you strap them to your face!2) I toss and turn pretty badly when I sleep at night so I'll eventually toss out of the mask and wake up with it off. I sleep better, I relax so much faster, I fall asleep much faster, and my thoughts don't swim as much while I'm trying to relax.2) The cooling part is fantastic - it clears up headaches and achy eyes in a few minutes.3) The headband is soft and comfortable and doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing anything bulky.4) Shipping and ordering were a breeze and it came on time and as advertised.All-around recommend it for sure!

Surprisingly heavy eye pieces, unable to purchase stand-alone higher eye pieces

I bought the cooling mask, not realizing there was no option to purchase the stand-alone lighter eye pieces. That was my mistake.I bought the mask to help with sinus pain and swelling, but dang — it’s HEAVY. I fell asleep with it on, and my nose was super sore the next day. If you use it for its cooling properties, and don’t fall asleep with it on (at least not for very long), it’s a decent mask. But I can’t recommend using it to help you fall asleep overnight if you’re using it to help with sinus pain/swelling — it’s just too heavy.If you do buy a mask, get the standard one first and the other eye pieces as stand-alone add-ons. You won’t be able to purchase the (what I assume are) softer/lighter standard eye pieces, even direct from the company (I asked).
