The product is good, but assembly is a bit of a challenge. The directions are fair (at best) and because of the design of the structure, it is difficult to assemble alone. Really requires two people so that one can support one side while the other person assembles the parts.

The horrible assembly even in pairs. They lack holes, screws, imprecise instructions. After a first assembly everything collapses, forced to drill holes, glue. In short, once mounted, the rendering is correct and the blind is easily opened. For how long, I hope to have a good surprise.

We purchased the 59" awning to shade the west sun in our Phoenix patio. As usual, the imagery on the assembly instructions were not easy to figure out. But two of us managed. In our case, our patio roof was pitched and it was very difficult to adjust the poles to fit. We finally did it and it looked great. I was happy until the first slight wind, it toppled down. It's now in the trash.

the installation proved not to be too complicated despite a very spartan assembly manual. However, the crank stopped working after 2 days. Impossible to reassemble the canvas. It seems that the mechanism cannot withstand the heat. It works cool in the morning and malfunctions with the arrival of hot hours.
Awning of good quality, suitable for the use I wanted to make of it. Note however: - Crank far too short for easy access. - Awning which does not hold well enough to the draft. (lowering arms too light) I added a little weight to maintain it. Once these remarks and arrangements made, I can use it as protection when I want to make a plancha in rainy weather for example.

I would not recommend this item. Awning was everything I wanted. Shipping to a week longer than promised. So much for Amazon Prime Next Day. Assembly was easy and perfect for the rental property. HOWEVER, went to retract it up the it won't retract. Crank just turns. Tried to trouble shoot multiple ways,, but to no avail BROKEN. Very disappointing !! Unfortunately can give no stars.
The product is very correct. My dissatisfaction relates to the fact that an essential part was missing during assembly (the small tube to be inserted making it possible to connect the two large tubes on the upper part of the blind). I was able to find a solution by replacing it with a curtain rod. This kind of oversight is quite frustrating after a week's wait for the product. Despite all this, good product and clean and relatively quick shipment of the package.
The product itself seems to be working well. But the assembly instructions were very poor, several parts weren't listed on the inventory and there were several starter holes for screws that were missing. Thankfully I've assembled quite a variety of products and was able to figure it out.
