I've tried pretty much every natural peanut butter available in stores and online after learning how unhealthy the ingredients used by the largest brands are. Most big brands use seed oil, which may be the culprit behind a range of modern health issues, while some just never care to specify exactly what '(hydrogenated) vegetable oil' is used in their products. I love how MaraNatha's peanut butter only has four ingredients and three of them (besides the sea salt) are organic. It doesn't seem to have that oil separation thing that many other natural nut butter products have. Most importantly, it tastes great! I'm definitely interested in trying their other products.

It's a good product. However, the plastic jar container makes me feel likeit's not a safe food to eat even though it claims to be organic. It used to be in a glass container when i did my first few purchase. I read some reviews before placing my last order as i wanted to make sure i get it in glass container and it said there its in a glass container. I'm disappointed when i got it in a plastic jar again this time.

I’m really impressed! The texture is perfectly creamy, making it easy to spread on toast or mix into smoothies. The flavor is rich and nutty. I appreciate that it contains no added sugars or preservatives, just pure organic peanuts. It's a great source of protein and healthy fats, perfect for a quick snack or as an ingredient in recipes. Overall, I highly recommend this organic peanut butter for anyone looking for a healthy and delicious option!

I like the fact that it is organic. It has a nice, smooth composition. It seems like a good quality product. The oil doesn't separate and it hasn't turned hard on me like some natural peanut butters tend to do. The taste is nice but a little bland. I would have liked there to be more salt and more crunch. If you like more salt you can add some - it's easy to mix. The jar is smaller than I expected. It is 16 ounces which is the smaller size jar. It is a good option if you're looking for natural, organic peanut butter. I would buy it again.
Incredibly disappointing to see MaraNatha change their ingredients and packaging to not only include PALM OIL but also now in a plastic container. Newsflash, there is NO SUCH THING as 'ethically sourced' palm oil no matter how much a company wants you to believe it (just google it!)MaraNatha are also now cutting corners by giving you a plastic jar instead of the usual glass ones. This is incredibly disappointing because the old formula was my favourite peanut butter. To anyone considering buying this, DON'T! support brands that don't use palm oil and contribute to plastic waste.
Brand has been switched from a glass jar with a metal lid to a plastic jar, glued "seal" and plastic lid. Hate the seals: the tabs are hard to get ahold of, hard to peel off without leaving residue of glue and metal foil fragments on the jar rim, and the tabs catch on the lid grooves and make the lid stop unscrewing so you have to yank it off. Also, plastic jars affect the taste, especially semi-soft ones like they are using now. And the recommended way to keep this product after opening is in the fridge. This keeps it from being runny. But plastic doesn't transfer or hold cold like glass and ceramics do, so instead of staying cool and the right consistency in the fridge, it turns runny and the oil separates so it needs stirring again. But plastic doesn't transfer or hold cold like glass and ceramics do, so instead of staying cool and the right consistency in the fridge, it turns runny and the oil separates so it needs stirring again. The old way with the glass jar and a metal lid (both washable/ reusable) worked just fine. Sometimes depending on how it was stored at the marehouse, you had to give it a bit of a stir after first opening, then kept in the fridge st didn't need a stir again until maybe the last part when some settlement had occurred. The original metal lids were a bit hard to open the first time because they skrewed on tight and had a bit of vaccuum, so you need to "pop the vaccuum" with the product at room temperature at first, then keep it in the fridge with the lid snugged on. This has been my favorite peanut butter, and I hate the new jars. I did have a metal lid still, but not the glass jar. The metal lid fits just fine, but the insulating property of plastic prevents the PB from geting to the right consistency in the fridge, so it is runnier and the oil separates so it needs stirring more often. I don't know why they went to plastic jars that are neither recyclable without a lot of washing with soap, and not really reuasable either. I can only guess that they are trying to save shipping charges and packing, so they can claim to be 'Greener". Too much of this practice of reducing weight and shipping materials result is more returns and shipping damage and fails to deliver the product in the condition that made you choose it. I am greatly disappointed by this totally unnecessary container change.
This peanut butter USE TO be the go to for my entire family! The 2 ingredients only was a chunky healthy staple on the shelf. Now they have added additional ingredients, including palm oil. You cannot cheapen the ingredients and sell it under the same product name and mislead consumers into thinking it's the same product! The taste is different (worse)already!Bring back the old product and the old packaging! If you use to love the old product, please leave a negative review here so we can give the company feedback!
I used Maranatha Organic Peanut Butter, Crunchy, and found it to be a great addition to my diet. The quality was evident in the rich, nutty taste and the satisfying crunch. It was versatile for various uses, from spreading on toast to adding a crunchy element to recipes like smoothies and cookies. The serving size was generous, and the overall size of the jar was practical for regular use. It fit perfectly into my diet and provided a delicious, nutritious option for snacks and meals.
I used to consume this peanut butter for years, the only good thing is it only contained 2 ingredients - peanut & seasalt, though stir was needed. However, I found that the texture was different than it used to be (no stir), after I checked the ingredients label & realized that two additional ingredients have been added - palm oil & sugar. Palm oil contains saturated fat which is not good to health plus sugar which is even worse. I don't understand why the manufacturer changed the ingredients. I will stop buying this product anymore.
I used to order this peanut butter before and it was without palm oil and without sugar. I really liked it, and the fact that the package was glass. This time I ordered mistakenly same brand but the one with sugar and palm oil. If the packaging was obviously different probably I wouldn’t make mistake but since they are all same, you have to read labels carefully. So I didn’t try this one, I’ll give it away to someone maybe.. The four star is for previous orders since quality of no sugar no palm oil peanut butter was really good.
