Love using this on my sons hair. He is 8 with hair down his back and biracial. I’ve used it once or twice on me but that was neither here nore there… my hair is past my butt so there’s no point…it helped but not like it should since my hair is so long the weight of it pushes it down to be less wavy/curly and more straight/longer small waves. Not really much of a scent - I wish it did but I know a lot of people enjoy something a lot more subtle so if you do then this is for you. Pretty sure I got this at Rite Aid for 50 to 75% off.. that’s why I grabbed it and one or two other Marc A products to test out since it’s been awhile I’ve tried anything from him in awhile. i have dry hair for referenceit made my hair super matt and super dry, my scalp also felt like the desert, it’s smells like lemons, LEMONS, i hated that but you might love itmy hair did not like the consistency either, it was to balm like and thick, moisture? goneshine? gone packaging and size are a 10 thoi can’t get rid of the scent off my mind its just badalthough i do think if i paired it with some kind of oil itd be better but my curls cream that iv been using for 5 years does not need an oil so if your hairs oily and like lemony scent, then this quality may be for you!!

Curl Creme is More Effective than Curl Lotion

After Nexus stopped making City Shield products*, I have not found a better product. This Curl Envy Creme CHI Silk Infusion oil are what I use now, after a lot of trial and error. I have thick Irish curly hair, if that helps. So, after washing my hair, I massage in the Silk Infusion oil first to nourish my hair, then apply some of this Marc Anthony Curl Envy Creme to provide soft curls and define the curls.I find the Creme works a LOT better than Marc Anthony's Lotion for Curls, and I find the Marc Anthony "conditioner" to be a waste of money.Using only the CHI Silk Infusion by itself, I still did not get the curl definition that I get with this Marc Anthony Curl Creme, and if I use only the Curl Creme, I don't get the healthy maintenance of my hair. Defines my waves, help much with frizz or hold.

I have 2b hair, not curly, but with soft waves starting at around my ears. I’ve been on a hunt for a hair cream that will define my waves, so far this does the trick. Before I shower, I comb out my hair with a wide tooth comb. I get rid of all the knots etc. Once I’m out the shower I wrap my hair in a cotton towel, then run my fingers through it to get any knots out if I have any. Then I apply this cream, on my semi wet hair. I know instructions say to work from roots to end, but I do the opposite and i crunch the end of my hair upwards and hold it there for a few seconds. I let it Air dry and pictured is the result! This cream doesn’t help me with frizz, and my waves will hold up for about 2 days max. Favorite Products for Curls

I have curly, red hair and I’ve been on the hunt for a staple hair product forever! I’ve always worn my hair curly and needed something that worked consistently for defining my curls. Ladies and gentlemen, this is that product!! I’ve now bought two bottles and I’m about to buy a third. I’m no longer trying products because I KNOW this works and my curls turn out perfect every time. Also, I’m not a huge fan of anything lemon scented, but this one doesn’t bother me! I’ll continue to repurchase this until they stop making it.

Made my hair fallout

I've been using this product for about 2 years now and it has been amazing. When the lawsuit came out about a different brands line having a chemical that has something to do with formaldehyde, I checked everything I use on my hair and it wasn't in anything. About 3-4 weeks ago I started a new bottle and have been losing my hair like crazy. I have very thick long curly hair. I'm using the exact same stuff I had been using when I checked months ago and the only thing I had to repurchase was this product (so all of my other bottles stayed the same). One morning something told me to double check just this product so I did and ofc I find that it had that chemical in it. I stopped using it immediately. Makes curls look fabulous!

I've got very curly hair that tends to frizz if I don't have some sort of gel or mousse in it. I like my natural curls but, when I put gel or mousse in, it looks wet all day and has no body or bounce and I hate it. I decided to try this when I saw it at Walmart desperate for something for my curls....WOW! I'm so happy I found it. For one, it's pretty inexpensive considering I've spent $20 on hair products before that did nothing. This makes my curls look so good, not wet. It has body and bounce but NO FRIZZ! It feels a little like conditioner putting it into your wet hair which worried me, but once my hair dried, it was amazing! I will continue to use this product for my curls.

Not what I expected

I tried this product thinking from the many reviews that my deeply shrinkage hair curls will elongate and give a little bounce. I was wrong. After I applied the product my curls did pop. They were very beautiful when it was wet. They even stretched a little. However, after the product dried, my hair shrunk back and there were a lot of flaking from the product. My hair is very dry and no frizz like it says but this is not a product I would ever use again. I did notice that the ingredients stated several alcohols and that’s a big no on 4C type hair anyway. I do not recommend anyone with 4C type hair to buy.
