Who would have thought I would ever have made my own spaghetti or fettuccine. With this attachment it makes light work if the situation and cut equally and perfect. Combine with pasta stand, a must, pasta comes out perfect.

Had some issues with separation. There were some strands not cutting for a bit. We also purchased the linguine attachment. It did not perform well. Half of the strands were in pairs.

First off, I had never made pasta before in my life and I wanted to try it out. I bought the Atlas 150 a little while ago and I love it. This attachment was a lovely addition to the crew. I find the attachments a little tricky to clean at times but it doesn’t take too long. The lasagnette strands came out beautifully and separated for the most part. A couple strands were still barely attached to the ones beside them but very easy to pull apart without damaging the strand. Love it! Can’t wait to get more!

I have had my Marcato Atlas 150 Pasta Maker for over 10 years, which has the ability to make Lasnaga sheets, Fettuccine and Tagliatelle. Finally decided that I absolutely needed the Spaghetti attachment, which I have used, and I love it. Why did I wait so long to get it. I highly recommend it, and I highly recommend Consiglio's Kitchenware. Ordering was so simple, and delivery was terrific and on time.
Makes great fresh spaghetti. Never going back to store-bought dry spaghetti.Tip for small-batch pasta recipe: just 1 egg per 100g of flour (half 00 and half semolina) makes enough pasta for my husband and me. Easy to scale up from there.
I bought my Marcato Atlas pasta maker in Italy. some 30 years ago. My wife and I were playing renaissance music in castles and renaissance and medieval cities and towns across Europe. We used a hand-mill to make flour, then pasta with our Marcato. And since that time and for 30 years, I've had the choice between fettuccine and whatever the small, spaghetti-like cutter is, on the original. I don't like thin pasta very much, so it's basically been fettuccine for decades. I bought the bigoli attachment, which yields bigoli noodles at the "2" thickness, and surprisingly makes linguine noodles at "3" or "4". Which is awesome, because the linguine attachment is often out-of-stock.Anyway, the variety of the bigoli attachments means I've ordered a few more, which should ... MoreI bought my Marcato Atlas pasta maker in Italy. some 30 years ago. Looking forward to it.
The double attachment that come with the Marcato makes what is sometimes referred to as spaghetti. It's not. Spaghetti has a round cut, like Bigoli. And if you look up capellini, you get this: "Capellini is a very thin variety of Italian pasta, with a diameter between 0.85 and 0.92 millimetres. Like spaghetti, it is rod-shaped, in the form of long strands." So, not capellini. The pasta cutter opposite the fettuccini makes a 1.6mm flat cut, like fettuccini, lasagnette and spaghetti chittara. It should be spaghettini chittara, or something. In any case, it ain't no spaghetti. Glad to finally make proper spaghetti noodles.
The dislike is the display of unit price. It is so called dynamic pricing, like a yoyo it is up and down. Never certain of price, and of course, everything has a market value, when price goes through that ceiling of market value, it becomes a merchandise with inflated asking price. The unit is the real McCoy, it is constructed, of Aluminum and stainless steel. If you are handy with phillips screwdriver, can open the end panels, and oil the roller cogs with machine oil, (no food contact), the rollers run seriously smooth. Also the combs are removable, for dry brushing and debri removal. It is a 5 star attachment.
I recently purchased this product as my main uses for the Marcato Atlas 150 machine are spaghetti, lasagna and fettuccine. The attachment it came with was for tagliolini and fettuccine. We found tagliolini was just too fine a cut so finally decided to buy the spaghetti attachment. I have used it only once so far but it works very well and the size is good. So glad I bought it as we love making our own pasta. This company prices their products comparable if not cheaper than others I could find elsewhere with fast shipping.
Hands are sweaty, give me good spaghetti.A must-have for your Marcato little pasta maker. No need to buy hard processed store bought "spaghetti"I give it a 5 out of 5.
