I bought this Nov 14th on sale & it's already on sale for even cheaper. So I have to go back to get the difference. Lesson learned, only by from CT at xmas sales. (3) pieces had damage including scrap metal strands. I contacted Marcy & have to wait 5 weeks for the part replacement. I still put it together & put a pulley in the center. If it came as it should have this would be a 5-star for me. Appears that it was factory packed damaged & not by CT. It's just really disappointed to spend that kind of money and get damaged goods. Also, the rubbers where you place the bar peeled off day 1 once a heavy bar was put on. Plus side, it's easy to put together. I needed a hand for the support bar only. It's a great addition to my barbells & bench just purchase with caution.

This rack is very strong and sturdy. Gets the job done without a problem. I weigh 200-ish pounds and I am able to do pull-ups without worrying if the rack will withstand my weight. I’m able to do squats with 185 pounds so far and rack can still hold more.What I disliked??? Not much. Had I had the money I would have bought a smarter rack, the type you could add add-ons to. Even then u can still add add-ons to this rack without a problem. Just the other day I added a pulley system to it. I’m also trying to add attachments to do dips. It’s a pretty good rack. For the moment this rack exceeds my needs.

This squat rack is great. It is quite tall so make sure you check your measurements. It fit perfectly in my garage home gym. I also was able to attach my pulley system to it which worked great as well. The only thing is the description states the side holders hold olympic plates but does not state it also comes with standard plate attachments. I was really happy with that as i have standard plates. Easy assembly and easy to follow instructions.

i was very excited for this product as I own a full squat rack and sometimes it is a pain to change things over for multiple exercises especially when two people are training together. Now lets talk about the good things with this rack. One, very easy assembly but two people are definitely recommended for it. Two, it says it has storage for olympic plates but they are just a pair of sleeves that go over the storage for standard so nice feature if you don't have olympic. Three, it is built with some decent tubing and heavy bolts and feels like it will last forever. Now for the down sides. It is very narrow so if you are a large person it feels very small un-racking the bar for bench or squat. Next it is only rated for 300 lbs, not a deal breaker for most people but yet again a little light weight for advanced lifters. The safety bars are not very long on it so you have to have you set up perfect to lift off and train safely. Lastly it only has adjustment holes every 3 inches which is miles apart for setting up different types of lifts. Now this could be fixed with a drill and some time without affecting the overall strength of rack but they could have put double the holes. Overall this would be a good addition for a beginners home gym but not for someone who has a few years lifting under their belt.
Pretty easy assembly for 1 person and took about a hour and a half. The pull up bar is strong and sturdy and holds my 200lb weight. I only have weights that go up to 100lbs and so far bench presses are fine resting the weights on the bar catchers. Using resistance bands does not move the cage, but I tried using my TRX and unfortunately the whole cage moves and will have to weigh down the cage somehow.
The squat rack is durable and sturdy, but it's height is prohibitive. It is difficult to do a full pull-up because the height is not adjustable and it is 7 ft tall. Standard room heights are 8' so in a taller room, this would work well, but it is difficult to do anything other than a basic pull-up in a standard room. It is very sturdy, which instills confidence while doing the movement.
Great squat rack. A lot off fun things can be done with this great durable solid machine. Excellent "bang for your buck". Didnt break the bank with this one. Actually the banks will be happy with how much money you save compared to similar products in the market.
I don't see a place to update the review I left above. I received the parts including the frame, rubbers & a main support post in under 2 weeks from Marcy. Now I'm happy with it. I was able to get a further discount with the new sale price as well. It fits in my furnace/storage room and has made doing squats & shoulder press much easier. Also attached a pulley in the center of the frame & can do tricep pull downs, lat pulls, single bicep curls. Marcy was easy to deal with & there was no hesitation from them to fix the problem.
This Walk-in Squat Rack with Pull-up Bar is perfect for a home gym. Easy to assemble, by myself. Instructions are easy to follow however the second piece was identified R and it should have been L. Only noticed this when it was time for the last 2 pieces (weight storage posts). This piece of equipment is sturdy, well made and does not take up too much room. I like there are 2 upper side handles and 2 lower ones for exercises with resistance bands. Recommend without hesitation. I give 4 start rating instead of due to the issue with the R and L issue

Not perfectly square upon assembly (uprights don’t sit perfectly perpendicular to the floor).- I am 6’ tall, the rack width is fine for squats but narrow for bench press IF you want to use the safety catches. At 39” wide inside, if I were to use the catches, I would hit my elbows on them on the descent. Should have been at least 42” wide. I use the rack without the safety catches for bench press but don’t recommend that for anyone without significant gym experience. The catches are very short as well, so you need to be careful of your body positioning if you are going to rely on them. They should have padded the vertical surface of the shorter catches as well, as the barbell scratches the paint off when racking the bar after a lift if you aren’t careful. Not a big deal but could be better.- it can hold a 6’ or 7’ barbell. True, but it really is designed for a 6’er. A 7’ barbell will not be supported as well and could get tippy when loading. Always alternate loading plates, even on the 6’, be extra careful loading the 7’.- no rubber on the feet. It has metal feet so unless on concrete put something under it.- the weight plate storage is plastic over top of steel. Feels cheap and doesn’t inspire confidence but works well enough for a beginner. Load carefully.- positioning the catches can be a bit fiddly, you often have to wiggle the pin into location through the back hole of the upright and can be helpful to guide it from the back with a finger but once you get used to that it’s fine. Just don’t expect one hand operation.Conclusion: I purchased this with points and on sale, so it was worth every penny. I use it almost everyday, alternating upper and lower body exercises. I picked it up because I need something that would do the trick for now. If you are the kind of person that wants the right tool for the job and only buy it once (rather than start with a beginner product and buy better as you go) then this is not for you. If, however, you just need something good enough for now to supplement your workout so you can do squats, bench and pull ups, then it’ll work well enough for you.
