It comes in a clear glass bottle with a screw lid. It obviously arrived with both of the solutions mixed so I allowed it to settle because this is how it works with the solutions completely separated. Do not shake or mix the liquids before applying. Mario Badescu drying lotion legit works on active acne in a single night. I do not use this lotion if there is a cut or scratch or tear around my pimple. Before bed (after cleansing and toning), dip a cotton swab into the pink sediment at the bottom of the bottle. Dab directly on the surface blemish. DO NOT RUB IN. DO NOT dip the same cotton swab into the bottle again. Use the other side of the cotton swab to avoid contaminating the product with bacteria.

Best product for cystic acne; great for regular pimples, too

This is my go-to product for pimples, especially cystic acne. I use it overnight, although in really serious cases, I apply it in the morning, let it dry, and dust off the excess pink powder. It heals all kinds of pimples with astonishing rapidity, and without scarring. I always buy the glass bottle, and I've never broken one; I pack it for trips, along with a Ziploc bag of Q-tips. One bottle lasts a decent amount of time, because you don't need to go crazy putting a lot on. I remember my life before this product, and I remember the week I started using it. It truly is life-changing. I have been using it for ~15 years now, and I only wish I had found it sooner.

Dries out Pimples & Whiteheads

My pimples are mostly whiteheads and this product helps hurry along the timeline of my pimples' lives. If I catch a pimple starting to form and apply this drying lotion overnight, usually the pimple will go away and not surface. If the pimple is already formed when I apply this, it dries out the pimple so the whitehead can surface faster and then be expelled either by me removing it or it falling off with the top layer of dead skin. Best if a thick layer is applied to the spot and left overnight. Use a cotton swab and do NOT shake the bottle. Let the clear and pink layer separate before using. Get enough of the pink layer on the cotton swab to apply. Don't reuse a cotton swab already dipped in the bottle.

It works like magic, but smells awful!

I originally bought this product for my teen son. His skin is mostly clear(I have him on a great skincare routine) but he's prone to occasionally getting a deep pimple (the hot to the touch, hard rock under your skin kind of pimple) and so I thought this may help as a spot treatment. However, after I bought it, I ended up getting the same kind of pimple myself so I resorted to using it. Very effective pimple shrinker

I've been using this for years. It's very effective at drying zits out overnight. This is probably my only mainstay product from Mario Badescu (although the toners are also pleasant, albeit not necessary for me). I make sure to use extra moisturiser the day after to combat the drying effects.The only downside is that the calamine powder lasts longer than the fluid does so I find myself needing to re-purchase before it's technically all "used up", but it's relatively inexpensive for how long it lasts.Also, don't use it during the day; you *will* forget you've got it on before leaving the house and receive funny looks from passers by.Pro-tip; clean the bottle out and use it for plant propagating.
