I've been purchasing Mario Badescu's Glycolic Acid Toner for well over a decade now and I enjoy it. This product says it's for Combination and Normal skin. I have dry skin and it still works for me Ideally I'd prefer a fragrance-free formula, but the fragrance has never bothered my skin. I do not feel toners are necessary, but I notice a difference in the tone of my skin when I use them vs not using then. Glycolic Acid from this toner will surely blur fine lines instantly. It does not feel moisturized, but also does not dry out my skin either. Again, I don't mix this with Retinols since it's Glycolic Acid, but I will alternate on days I don't use a retinoid and use the Mario Badescu's Glycolic Acid Cleanser combined with this Glycolic Acid Toner instead. This costs $18 for the large size bottle and I feel for how long it lasts and how well it works, the price is cheaper than many drugstore prices currently. I have tried going without it, and every time I do I see a BIG DIFFERENCE (negatively) in my skin😱 I would recommend this product to anyone worried about redness, acne, and texture. I don’t think it actually helps treat acne but it does help to remove left over make up debris and improve the skins overall tone/ clarity💖🤗 Also if you end up liking the toner you can buy the LARGE size and save money! (The reason I have 3 smaller sizes is because they went on sale recently, thanks #Sephora💖🤩 lol.) I also forgot to mention that helps to lighten acne scars🙌

Amazing!!

A staple for me, I don’t do much skincare these days but I love this toner. I get a lot of pimples and blackheads, I find this brings them out so I’m able to pop them (satisfying as!) and if I remember to use it regularly it really helps keep them away. Makes my skin feel so smooth as well! I don’t find it does much to minimise pores but I have very large ones. I also have very sensitive skin when it comes to fragrance but this doesn’t give me any sort of reaction. I say give it a go!!

Great toner - can feel it working!

I have been using this toner for about a week now and I have already noticed a changed in my skin tone and texture. My pores have dramatically minimised and my skin feels smoother. You can definitely feel the glycolic acid when you apply it to the skin, it isn't unbearable but probably would be a bit intense for sensitive skin types. It has a really nice scent as well. This is now a staple in my skincare routine.

But I still needed to know how much. Well the email I received back said that they can't tell me because it's "proprietary" information. Um... what? Believe me. Your skin will thank you. No more of this brand for me. It's not worth the risk.

My holy grail

My holy grail. I stopped using this a few years back (I can’t remember why) and I’ve soon remembered why I love it so much. I have VERY problematic skin, oily, large pores and cystic acne. Within a few days of using this my acne has dried up and I’m basically blemish free (I have also changed my diet) but I can tell this has made such a difference. There is a scent but not overpowering and doesn’t seem to aggravate my skin. This is absolutely my number 1 skin product. My skin is glowing again!

Perfect to treat keratosis pilaris (chicken skin)

This is the only treatment that works to treat the chicken skin on my upper arms. Apply with a cotton ball every night before going to bed and the keratosis will be gone in about 2 weeks. However, the moment you stop, it will come back. It is also very nice to use on the face once or twice a week. I would not use it every day as it is quite strong and could dry out your skin. I am so happy Shoppers Drug Mart carries this great brand!

I went into the Mario Badescu store/ spa in New York about 2 years ago for a skincare consultation. I was advised to use their Glycolic Acid Toner every day, twice a day, to help treat my concerns for fine lines and wrinkles (I'm a few years older than you). I used it, as directed and with sunscreen for about the past year and a half and I now have Rosacea and hyper-pigmentation (evaluated and diagnosed by dermatologist). I can't stand to be in the sun now for longer than a few minutes, even with very strong SPF, sunglasses, and hats. I called and spoke to a manager at MB's New York store to complain. It shouldn't!I've never had sensitive skin prior to using Mario Badescu's products. I've never had symptoms of rosacea or hyper-pigmentation or been diagnosed with any skin care diseases prior to using their products.After conducting research online about the company and their products, I came across news about a large lawsuit by over 30 people vs. Mario Badescu regarding the withholding of disclosure for topical steroids used in their face cream. The lawsuit resulted in a settlement. I also came across blogs and beauty articles citing many complaints about the company's products causing skin problems.
