I love this game! It is such a classic game. There are easy courses and very difficult courses. You can play by yourself or you can play with friends. (It is a lot of fun to run your friends off rainbow road 😂). I definitely recommend this game if you are looking for a classic racing game. The controls are pretty easy to figure out and there are additional modes that you can play to make the game more interesting.

This has to be one of the best Mario Kart games I’ve played so far. My case had a few scratches, but I believe I ordered the cosmetically flawed version, so it was to be expected. Extremely happy with this order. I played it on my 3Ds, so the screen was smaller, but it’s hardly noticeable. Menu music is right up there with Mario Kart Wii. I would highly recommend this to both Ds and 3Ds users.

Absolutely loved the game! I never got to experience Mariokart DS when it first came out, but getting it from DKoldies more than made up for it! I bought it alongside two other 3DS games and they were in phenomenal condition, like if they were never used before! If you're wanting to get this game, get it here since its

This game was my childhood. I spent many late nights playing with my brother. So when I recently discovered my old DS in one of my storage boxes. This was the first game I thought of purchasing. DKOldies was the only place I discovered that had it at a good pricing and it arrived at my house within three days. The childhood nostalgia as I play, is worth everything.I will continue to use this website to rebuild my childhood gaming system.
This was my first game that I bought when I was introduced to the last generation with an Electric Blue Nintendo DS. I gotta say, it was a good enough game to keep me playing it for a long while. The graphics are pretty good for its time; Donkey Kong pretty much looks like Donkey Kong and I especially love the looks of his Rambi Rider kart as it flooded back memories of the great Donkey Kong Country game. This game has tracks that are original to the game and tracks that come from all the other Mario Kart games that preceded it. I also like how in Time Trial mode, if you're fast enough, you can race against the ghosts played and programmed by the staff of the game. The Missions mode is a great way to improve on your skill and waste time; a fresh breath from the other typical racing modes. This game certainly took advantage of the touch screen. For one thing, it allows a alternate, overhead avatar view of the race and it keeps you on the track for when you stumble across a Blooper (which was a new item for this game I believe) which squirts ink on your view of top screen and temporarily restricts your field of vision. If you touch the touch-screen during the race it will change into a more detailed map and rankings view for those who might be more advanced to the MK games and wish to have a overall glimpse of their race. The other cool thing to do with this touch screen, is that you can create your own emblem for your cart with the paint mode. Although, there are times where the given dimensions of the cart canvas are a tad too small, prohibiting your feel for creativity. While this game delivers all the goods and fast-paced action we've come to feel for all Mario Kart games, there are some things that they could have improved on... This game's version of the infamous Rainbow Road might feel like a roller-coaster but ends up being short-handed compared to other Mario Kart games... But the biggest problem with this game has to be the Wi-Fi mode. For one thing, while there might be 8 racers on any given standard race, the races online can only let you race with 3 other people. Which is better than one-on-one but given the time you'd have to wait for racers to join you, the count quickly feels abysmal. A typical WiFi match consists of four rounds on a point system determined by the ballot approach for selecting tracks. Basically the majority vote selects the track. If there are no votes the same, then the track is randomly selected. This gets especially annoying when you're racing with an opponent/opponents with a love interest for a particulartrack. And if all opponents disconnect on you during the race then that supersedes all wins you might have gained during a match. And this tedious process starts all over. again. And for whatever reason, WiFi races cannot let you L-Hold onto any items as opposed to the standard races...what is UP with that??? I would be racing so much better if that was different. Especially considering that you'll probably encounter some racers that have obviously hacked into their attributes with cheat codes from AR MAX... Basically the online mode can be fun at first, but after 200 races or so, the tedious things become very apparent. If you want good wholesome fun on single and multiplayer modes this game will get the job done. If you want awesome online play, then skip this and get Mario Kart Wii instead (if you have a Wii that is). UPDATE FROM "THE FUTURE OF 2016" :P In the event you have been "in a cave" missing out on all info Nintendo, the company cut off ALL servers for original DS AND original Wii online play about 5 or so years ago; in case you thought buying this game would mean otherwise.
Ah, the good old DS. The Mario games aren't half-bad on it. And this game is no different. Has a pretty good display of characters for the period, and the signature karts for each character are really nice and strongly reflect each character. The emblem customisation feature also helps personalise your gameplay. However, the Grand Prix is not so great. Even 50cc is a little on the tricky side, constantly having to snake to retain first place. It's also a little annoying that characters have such limited choice in karts respectively until you have slaved away at the harder ccs to unlock the ability to allow them to use any kart. However, I don't regret my purchase. It has its merits.
Vita works perfectly after having it for a month now, and I was able to mod it after buying a new USB chord because the one that comes with it is just a charger. The condition was better than described and practically looked brand new. Shipping time was not as long as estimated which was an even bigger plus. Safe to say I'm super satisfied with this purchase. I would recommend a screen protector too as I have accidentally chipped mine already.
This brings back memories lol. As someone who grew up playing this game, I can say this is just what I remember, though my old version was in English. Even then, the controls are easy, the game came pre-finished (so I can just explore whatever worlds I want). And I can practice reading Japanese characters now! 10/10
I absolutely love my copy of Mario Kart DS, and while the game is absolutely flawless and looks in great condition, there is one problem. The price. When I was at GameStop the other day, they had a copy of the game for less then what I paid by almost $10! GameStop is known for overpricing and low trade credit. Other that that minor problem. The game is great and I will happily buy from DK Oldies in the future!
I first bought a PSvita 1000 which has a great OLED screen but weight and the size and the glossy front makes me paranoid of scratches. I decided to get a PSVita 2000 which that one is on the go for a very good price. I just didnt like the LCD screen but was able to hack it and made the screen more vibrant and the whites looking like whites since before it looked greenish or washed out. When I fix that I am using this Vita way more and it is more comfortable to hold. I love the white front and the light blue in the back and came with zero scratches. Very mint condition so I might order more stuff from this seller. I am really enjoying this vita which I missed out in 2014.
