Bought this. End plug and tension device needed to be glued other wise they just dropped out. The end caps don't fit the bottom rail. You'd think the installation guide would have a measurement guide for width of brackets.... but no have to hold up into position without everything falling apart to make marks for your fixings.Looks good. But absolute rubbish at the same time

For price, especially if doing these with extra costs of delivered & installed, the chain & roller (very creaky & squeaky), bar (not weighted enough to stop it moving around) & end caps (keep falling out) are a little cheap & nasty. The blind itself though is fantastic. Great colour, lovely finish quality fabric & very effective blockout. It’d be great if blockout panel was a middle layer with nicely finished fabric on both sides allowing reversible hang flexibility either out or flush to window. Be cautious of using these in rooms with fans or close to air conditioners as they will flap & bang around a bit, also letting in slivers of light.

Easy to install and quality is what you would expect at this price point. Be aware these are only coloured on one side and white on the other. They are designed to be front rolled. I back rolled mine to match the blinds in the rest of my house and keep the blind close to the window and you can see the white on the roll at the top. This should be mentioned in the product description.

Excellent blind - good quality sheer & thick blockout fabric. Fittings are good quality. Colour is an excellent neutral that goes with a lot of interiors - it's lighter, more off-white & less beige than the listing colour on the website - worth having a look at in person. The only complaint I have is that I have irregular sized windows & these are not friendly for being cut down. I have surface mounted them to avoid customising them as a result. Still very happy with the purchase as I was able to do the whole house (12 windows) for under $1,500 myself after being quoted $4,000 - $6,000 to have them done professionally.
Great blinds for great value. They block out the light very well as well. Installation was a piece of cake.Only advise: do not use the screws that come in the package. The screw head holes/slots are of poorest quality and if you use extra strength while screwing them on they just go soft and you cannot screw them on properly after.
I have bought eight of these Markisol roller blinds, for every room in my house! They are a very good quality product, and very easy to install. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering DIY window furnishings.
I purchased this click and collect, though when I went to open it I realised it had been previously used and attempted to be fitted. It doesn’t come with instructions and a few screws missing. Though I travelled 3 hours to the property and was too hard to return.I managed to work it out and to be honest it wasn’t too hard to hang, took a few attempts to get the spacing correct so the blind would stay in place. But for the money it is great and works well in a really sunny room, it blocks the light well.
We bought two of these and they seemed great value in comparison with a more expensive version of the same make. One of them had two pinprick holes, presumably from the staple at the top but otherwise seemed great. One has been fantastic but the other has fallen down three times whilst being lowered. One fell on my shoulder & the last into my thumb. Ouch! It was never jerked. Now we will have to bring it back when the store opens this weekend. Perhaps we were unlucky & it is a rare faulty one. I hope the replacement will be as good as the one in the other bedroom which I would have marked a high 4*.
The instructions are less than adequate and don’t have accurate measurements for installation- it took multiple attempts to get these blinds up in a way that meant the little auto retracting spindle didn’t make the whole blind fall down whenever I tried to open them. The end pieces also don’t fit closely enough together with the blind rods so there was a lot of retrieving bits that fell down as we tried to get them mounted. HOWEVER once correctly hung they’re great, effective and simple and the combo of translucent and blockout blind is excellent!
Worst of the worst. Looks nice, not functional. Falls every time you try to roll up blind. Brackets and end mounts are rubbish. Don’t buy unless you don’t use your blinds. Caused me many sore heads and a lot of anger.
