I've enjoyed Marmite for many years although found it both difficult to obtain and costly in Australia. It never fails to disappoint on all sorts of uses, especially spread on toast. Avoid the temptation of comparison with another siomilar sounding local product - that's all they are - similar sounding the taste is totally different. Wonderful product.

If you love Marmite, then this is a wonderful way of buying it. We all love the old glass jars but it's frustrating not to be able to get at the last bit stuck in the rounded shape. This is the solution; you can get a spatula in and scrape up the last bits. I like mine mild, so I soften half a pack of unsalted butter and mix with an equal quantity of Marmite, then store in the fridge. This way I only have to spread once on toast or crackers. (Doesn't work with low fat spreads - too much water causes separation and curdling) the cats love it too for a treat!
Family favourite for over fifty years. Bought this for my family abroad... They too love it. Excellent for growing kids; great on toast when you are not feeling great or recovering from illness. Nice on cheese on top of a toasted crumpet too. You have just got to love it.
Love it! A must for three generations of our family. On toast. On bread. On crumpets. Even straight from the jar in small doses.As a drink if not feeling so good. Add to your stews. A must have in the kitchen and on the table.
Yummy, Im a marmite freak. Marmite crisps, flatbread, and especially on hot buttered toast. Try a spoonful when you make your gravy , youll be surprised at the taste.
The good thing is that I did not have to carry it home. It has become more difficult to get 500g Jars from my Local Shops Rich in the Vitamin B's helping good brain function. Only down side was the value for money as 1.28 per 100 opposed to 0.95 per 100 when one can find a 500g jar. in Dec-2018
